This book is one of the most racist concepts i have ever read. Worst part is nowhere does anyone learn racism is bad and instead it is reinforced again and again!

Story is basic but entertaining fantasy. Reader is a monotone bore.
The long and short of this book is a Dungeons and Dragons campaign narrated by a tired and/or inexperienced VA.
The story is basic and bare bones with a plot about as deep as a puddle and 9 different characters with little to no development. It’s entertaining enough for anyone looking for a pallet cleanser but nothing more than that.
BE WARNED! The VA has all of 2 voices and absolutely no sense of cadence, volume, or intensity leading to moments of confusion as to who is talking and very VERY flat action sequences.
Reads like a valiant attempt at someone’s first successful fantasy novel.

Good start
Pretty good book, I enjoyed it. Heavy midevil setting, leads in to the sequel very well. I am looking forward to the next book!
