Publisher's summary

Caught in a love triangle that turns into a love diamond.

Jade has just opened the first human restaurant in the illustrious Alliance Empire. Everything in her new life is falling into place, everything except her love life. Her true love is a slave and according to the Imperial Laws, they can never marry. However, Jade is not one to give up so easily and she will do anything to have her man, even if that means invoking an ancient alien law that requires three husbands. Can she convince three men of different Alliance classes to marry her? Is she strong enough to balance the demands of all her husbands?

The Alliance Series is set in a fictional future where humans are small-time players in the big-time galaxy. There are no heroes or women being rescued; instead, listeners are led through an intricate maze of alien courting customs, duplicitous strict religious codes, vicious culture shock, and uncomfortable compromises.

Although it is possible to jump in the Renascence Alliance Series at any time, it’s recommended you listen to Married to the Alien Admiral of the Fleet, Renascence Alliance Book 4 or Married to the Alien with No House, Renascence Alliance Book 3 before listening to Restaurateur in the Alliance Empire: Renascence Alliance Series Book 6.

Getting interesting

I still feel these story need a chapter to explain the alliance because if you haven’t read any past stories you will be confused. That being said. This story getting better as it goes along. I don’t like to leave spoilers. All I can say is I really I enjoyed this story and how the main character came over all her challenges to get her true love.

I Enjoyed This Book Immensely!

WOW, this was such a Romantic and Enjoyable addition to the Renascence Alliance Series!

Quality Writing, Excellent World- and Character Building
Believable, Serious and Mature
Super Romantic and with Very Hot Sex Scenes.

Some of the books in this series have more Drama, or don’t end the way you would have liked.
But this Book, with Jade as the Main Character, was just Delightful!
I already knew Jade, and it was such a pleasure following her trying to achieve her dreams.
I enjoyed it immensely and I look foreword listening to the rest of the series.
In each Book you get a 'Piece of the Common Thread Puzzle’ and I can’t wait to see where it will lead.

The Narration was Excellent.
Jill has a Good Voice, Intonation, Emotion in her Voice and Character Distinction,.. it was all very Professional and Enjoyable, and I appreciate that very much!

If you can’t start this Series at the beginning, I would highly recommend at least listen to Book 3 (Married to the Alien with No House) first.
That’s the first book with Jade in it (and where one of her Romances start), and it will make you enjoy this book a lot more.
+ Book 3 is just as Romantic and Enjoyable as this one, you don’t want to miss it. (3 and 6 are my favorites!)
I personally wouldn’t start the Series with Book 4. It’s the most emotionally difficult one, and not a good place to start in my opinion.

The Entire Series is suited for Adults only.

I got this Audio Book for free (thanks!). I'm voluntarily leaving this review.

Shocking and thrilling

I was on the edge of my seat with this book, waiting to see if Jade could keep her other half without dying! So many new shocking discoveries and I'm left with so many questions, and I'm hoping there will be more in this series, the narration was fantastic. I reveived this book in exchange for my honest review.

The best sci fi romance I have ever listened to

I have only listened to one other book by Alma Nilsson, "Married to the Alien Doctor," and while it held promise the story and the narration were just 'good' if you see what I mean. However, "Restaurateur in the Alliance Empire" narrated by Jill Smith blew me away. The world-building of the Alliance Empire down to the religion, laws and even organisation of the city were not only believable but fascinating. On top of that, the story of Jade's husbands and children were spell-binding. I didn't know how it was going to end. I also really appreciated the comic releif which Alma Nilsson seems to have a real gift for, my favourite was Ota saying something like, "Jade was healthy, but I wouldn't ask her to run long distances." Terrific! I look forward to the rest of the series. I must say, I also cannot even begin to guess where it's going. Obviously, this female demographic has been a constant in the Empire for millions of years, but I cannot even begin to guess why or how. I don't know if I were to listen to the other books if it would be obvious?
