Publisher's summary

The unmissable conclusion to the science fiction series that has it all—ancient aliens, rogue AIs, beleaguered royalty, semi-repentant pirates, and the chance to go where no humans have gone before (well, not for five hundred years)—all wrapped up in the possibility of a happy-ever-after for everyone (bad guys excluded).

Resolve is the triumphant conclusion to Nora and Liam’s story, begun in Astray in the unexplored depths of the Avestan Range and the quirky precinct of Border Station.

Hopeful, exciting science fiction is possible, and you’ve stumbled into it. Enjoy!

Loved it

Loved this series. I would just recommend two things to the author. Probably a few less important characters would make this easier to understand who’s with who, considering the large amount of worlds and political interests. The other, is not so much repetition of facts. This last book went on and on about the basics of the series. I don’t think it was necessary as no one would read this book without reading the prior ines. It would just be too difficult and make no sense.

An outstanding series

I throughly enjoyed each book in this series. It is well paced and excellent character development. Iam just sorry it ended. I understand there is a spinoff series which I hope comes to audible. However, I think Nora and her clan have more to tell and explore. I really would love to see happens with there latest find.

Awesome!

This was a fun wrap up for now on Nora and Liam's story. Adventure continues with Cherry's story which I hope is on Audible soon. I am so invested in this world's story and hope we get to see more. Narrator is amazing as always.

Thank you

Love this Series

I am hoping that this is not the end of this series. The family dynamic that a lone stray creates from book 1 to 5 is amazing. The mixture of sci-fi and royalty is intriguing. The concept of the burrs is limitless. I love the development and wonder.

Likable.

The main characters were all likable and I enjoy Emily Woo’s narration very much. I wish there was more adventure and less politics and business especially in the last two books. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I would have preferred far fewer tertiary characters to keep track of. Enjoyable enough.

Not the strongest of the 5 books but enjoyable

I enjoyed the entire series and found the last book the weakest of the five, a little too much attention to politics instead of action. The book does wind up the series with no loose ends and leaves an opening for a new series with a continuation of all the main characters. I would like to see a follow up.

Excellent series

I'm sad that this was the final book in this arc, but am excited about all the possible new arcs to come. Great world building, satisfactory ending and hope for the future!

8+ hours and nothing really happens…..

For nearly the entire book nothing happens. I’m not kidding, nothing happens. In a word it’s a snorefest.

Clan simulator 3000

I liked the first books a lot. The mix of action, world building and inter character content worked well for me. sadly these last books (and espesially this) is almost only inter character soap.
It also seems a bit unlikely that all these external people would just fit in the clan, it seems a bit unlikely. These people have lived in a harse world where politics is everything, why would they trust Nora just like that? What has she done to solidify that trust? Nora is a cool character, but unlike in the first books, a lot of her human characteristics like doubt, drive, anger and stubornness is lacking in this book. Not so good when so much of the book is soap, and the main character of the soap is lacking in substance.
This might be right down your ally, if so, good for you. But the content mixture has changed to much for me. so this will be my last book of this series.

So painfully boring

Tedious and boring. Nothing happens… I finally started fast forwarding each chapter hoping to get to something interesting. Nope. Not one bit. Previous books were better.
Emily is a great narrator, so it had that going for it.
