2nd Time Around!

This was my first read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more from her.
Loved that this second chance romance featured mature 40-something MMC and FMC. The definition of love often changes as we age and mature. Despite the heartbreak experienced by both, they were able to experience their versions of the life they wanted; fortunately for them a renovation project led them back to each other!
Sweet love story with minimal drama, a mix of spice and plenty of love!

This is my first book by this author and female narrator. It is safe to say the story was well read and entertaining.

This is a lovely story and I enjoyed the reunion of lost love. My 1st book by this author. I'll definitely try another. And Bae, WJ's southern dialect was niiiiiiiiiice!! ❤️❤️

Second Chances

I like this story with mature characters. Since this is a second chance romance there is baggage or old wounds that need to be addressed. But for the most part they communicated like adults and work on their issues. I felt bad for Marcel who felt abandon. But also liked the mature way they came to deal with the past and how things played out. Great characters. I look forward to the next book in the series. #CMCon26

They Never Stopped Loving

I'm convinced that Marcel never stopped loving her and wanted one more opportunity. Their connection was effortless and even more, their love was still burning. He renovated the B&B and her heart

Cute Story

Overall, it was a cute and uneventful story. I had a hard time wanting a relationship win for the mfc. She was just as self centered and cowardly at 43 as she was at 18 and she didn't give to her village the way they gave to her. The female narrator had a calming sleepy time voice. A beautiful voice but not ideal to keep me engaged.
