Concerned

I have listened to all the books in the series and the 2 Paradise books. This one misses the mark. It is if Mr. Alanson came up short and just put in description to make the word count. The characters are lacking depth. I really wanted to love this book but I can’t.

Best series ever, yes. Best book in the series, no

I eagerly await each new book. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each one as they’ve continuously added to the storyline, character development, and new insights about the galaxy the author has created. I thought this particular book didn’t live up to that criteria. In some instances I felt it took a step backwards.
It was a good listen but I, like many reviewers, are dying for things to move along. This could easily have been one of those .5 books as it didn’t seem to progress at all. It was just another mission. I listen to a lot of RC Bray and it almost seemed as if he was also waiting for new jokes and details. It felt a little somber.
I will buy the next one with hopes that it sheds a little light on where this is all going.

Another great installment of the series. This story truly comes to life by the magnificent performance of R.C. Bray.

I was once again taken on another mad capped interstellar bro trip with Joe and Skippy!

fun listen. but too many happy endings

fun series, BUT he's in love with his characters. too many times everything comes out just fine without losing anybody. getting a bit predictable. still worth a listen (rc Bray is really impressive and funny)
somebody big needs to die or at least get messed up soon.
what makes game of thrones or empire strikes back good? sometimes the good guys need to get their asses kicked

AMAZING series, I loved it. This is a must, if you get it and listen to it I guarantee that you will love it as much as me...maybe even more.

I already finished it!

It's again another awesomeness! And now I have to wait in meat sack time to a level of magnitude equivalent to Skippy time for the next one! So, chop chop Mr. Alanson!

Not as good as the remainder of the series to date

There were definitely some slow parts where the working relationship between the main protagonists was suddenly and oddly changed. The sudden and unexplained antagonism, rather than established shenanigans, seemed unnecessary and counterproductive to the story. I suspect filler material was needed to round out the page count.

i loved this series so incredibly much. I'm going to miss the wonderful asshole skippy

The best of the series so far

This was simply the best written and performed book of the series so far. RC Bray should win some sort of epic award for his perfomance. I was dying laughing about half the time with his perfect interpretation of skippy. The previous book, Mavericks was good but not my favorite in the series and I still look forward to the spin off. This book however is a return to form of the prime storyline. Out of 100+ audio books listened to this book was my favorite. If you for some reason lost interest after Mavericks you need to come back to the awesomeness. plus there is a TV show coming now! RC Bray has to play skippy!
