It was written by Miles Cameron, so…

I was proactively prepared to like it. It was only an hour long, not a lot you can do with that.
The protagonist had a quality of character that I admire and enjoy reading. It is the same in all of Mr. Cameron’s stories, so far.

Interesting introduction

Full disclosure- I picked this up because
A. It is included with Audible Plus
B. Joe Jameson is one of my favorite narrators
C. It was only an hour and sometimes I like to listen to something short between books to "cleanse the palate"
I've never read anything by Miles Cameron before this so I didn't know what to expect. Obviously Joe Jameson was brilliant as always. I was afraid that I would miss out on something due to never having read anything else by the author, but that wasn't the case. The characters were interesting and the story was engaging. I feel like I got enough of an introduction this author to try something more substantial.
