It’s no secret that the two don’t initially trust or respect each other. But once they’re forced to improvise a few times under pressure, they become more comfortable playing the part of an infatuated couple.

The agent and biker ultimately get so good at being together that even they forget that they’re only supposed to be pretending as they attempt to set up the deal to take down a homicidal drug dealer.

Avery can’t seem to recall why she despised Remy in the first place since he’s proven to be a kind, caring man who would literally do anything to protect his family.

And while Remy didn’t want to spend a second with Avery at the beginning of the undercover operation, he suddenly doesn’t know how he’s ever going to let her go.

Good Story

A few glitches in the audio but the story falls in line with all the other books this great author has written.

Hilarious 😂

I know some people may cringe at the cursing in this book but it really doesn’t take away from the hilarious story of the dirty biker bad boy vs the straight laced DEA agent, I liked the fact that unlike a lot of MC books that this had so much comedy to go along with the action and romance, very enjoyable.

His nicknames make me laugh every time. The narrators are two of my favorites!! Great book overall. Love the whole series starting with the original Kings

This romance novel checks every box for me: a fierce, independent heroine who is still growing and developing, and a brooding, rough-around-the-edges bad boy with a soft heart buried beneath all that swagger.

The chemistry between the leads is electric — equal parts banter and longing — and watching their relationship evolve felt like a slow burn in all the best ways. The plot moves with purpose, never dragging, and gives both characters room to grow without losing the heat or heart. It’s the kind of story that had me rooting for them not just as a couple, but as individuals finding their own strength.

I loved how the heroine never needed saving — she held her ground, spoke her mind, and called the shots just as often as he did. And the male lead? The kind of man who seems like trouble but turns out to be the safest place she’s ever known.

This book gave me all the feels — grit, tension, vulnerability, and genuine love. If you’re a fan of layered characters, smoldering romance, and a happily-ever-after that feels truly earned, this one’s for you.

Foul language

Couldn't get through the 1st couple of pages every curse word known to man was revealed. Could not return it for some reason. I am disgusted with this purchase. I am an excellent member of audible.... This is awful treatment. Not to be able to turn a book Cash for it I guess we live in learn

Story line was basic and predictable. The characters weren’t that deep. Narration was not bad.
