One of of my favorite reads/listens of this year!

This was such a FUN TIME! The narrators were phenomenal and were perfect for these characters. The story was dark, spicy, action-packed, and the characters were all so dynamic and multilayered. Honestly, I found myself loving the side characters and constantly going back on forth whether or not I liked the 3 main characters in the love triangle (and I love not knowing whether or not I like a character right away). The dystopian setting was so different compared to most dystopian books I’ve read and the magic system is incredibly unique. It was an easy read, and the writing style was easy to follow and engaging. It gave me similar vibes to the Plated Prisoner series (which is one of my favorite series of all time!). For the first book in a trilogy, I’m officially hooked and can’t wait to read the second book!

Surprisingly good.

I didn't know what to think when I got this. With the absolute flood of romantasy hitting the genre lately, I've become a little harder to impress. So when I say I genuinely enjoyed Remnants, that means something.

Heather Firth and Sean Masters delivered exceptional performances, bringing these characters to life with remarkable skill. Heather's portrayal of Lissa's determination and vulnerability was spot-on, while Sean seamlessly transitioned between Lissa's two love interests, each with distinct personalities. Their performances created an experience that made it effortless to become engrossed in the world.

If you've been feeling burned out by dark romantasy lately and are looking for something that feels fresh while still delivering the angst, tension, and obsession we all love, Remnants is absolutely worth picking up.

I loved this book so much, but add in the amazing narrators!!

Liss is a silver trying to hide is a city hunting for silvers. She gets caught up in the web of people trying to control everything. She has to decide where she wants to stand.

The rivalry, secrets, honest, and twists kept me on my toes.

Story/plot

I love this book. Princess bride retelling. It is a well written love triangle. You will be in fight or flight with the FMC the whole time. The characters,Plot, and dynamic in a post apocalyptic Romantasy where certain people have blood magic!

Sean and Heather performed so well!

A Love Triangle to Die For

Well, here I am cheering for the villain again. I received this book as an advanced listener copy so did it on audiobook and it was SO GOOD. The love triangle in this book had me going back on forth on who I was rooting for the entire book and honestly, I'm still not decided. You love to hate Gideon but the man has some very particular skills that I find very...intriguing. This book was so well written and I cannot wait for more (cliffhanger warning!) A unique story, well executed, with great spice and tension that will have you crawling the walls. This book is definitely worth a listen and Sean Masters definitely just moved up my list of favorite narrators. His voice for Gideon is pure perfection.
