Publisher's summary

Alexandra Stewart doesn't just walk down memory lane, she lives on it. Her eidetic memory records and plays back her experiences, DVD style. It's great when she aces a test, but not so great when she topples over a cute guy. Talk about an endless loop of humiliation.

When her Russian professor gives her an impossible puzzle, Alex discovers he has a secret - one that will catapult her into a life of cryptic codes and covert missions. Of course, conducting secret ops would be easier if she weren't trying to impress her handsome new running partner. As if love weren't hard enough already, now Alex is trying to find it while dodging bullets and going undercover.

One thing is for certain, whatever happens will be forever etched into her memory. And some things are better left forgotten.

Any additional comments?

Me and my teenage daughter both read Remembrandt, by Robin King and we both loved it! I've never read a spy genre book before and I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it, but it surpassed my expectations! The plot was engaging and strong character development. I especially liked all the action, but pleasantly surprised with the hint of romance which is a "must have" in all the books I read. Needless to say I can't wait to read the next two books in the series and discover the new adventures and struggles Alex will face.

An unexpected thrilling adventure. Wow!

There are many things I love about this book. The characters became real people in my mind. I understood and felt their emotions. The description of places, objects, and experiences made everything believable.

If you are looking for a book that will take you on a roller coaster ride, pull at your heart strings, and paint a vivid picture in your mind, you’ve found it. I can’t wait to start book 2.

Fun

I enjoyed the story but found the narration a little difficult because of the sharp, precise way she pronounced the words. The song at the end was a really nice addition, Robin King has a gorgeous voice! looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

Great Book

I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would! The story was intriguing and mysterious. The characters were compelling. I thought it was a well thought out and researched book. I didn't love the narrator, don't love the way she pronounces some words. I also thought the story ended abruptly, I was surprised when the book was over. I felt there was more to the story. I guess that's where sequels come in!

Worth the read!

It was a well told story, I ended up buying the paperback because the performance was a little robotic and distracting to me. My 14 year old daughter really enjoyed it too!
