Publisher's summary

Miss Eilidh Fyffe always assumed her life would follow a predictable pattern - meet a charming man, fall in love, marry, and live happily ever after. But when an accident damages her memory, she is left with only questions. Has she already fallen in love and married? If only she could remember....

Master Kieran MacTavish has spent six years searching for his lost wife. But it turns out, finding Eilidh alive is only the beginning of the battle. She has no memory of him - no recollection of their courtship, love, or handfasting. Refusing to be discouraged, Kieran relishes the chance to make her fall for him all over again. Surely, he can rekindle the flame of their love. But the intervening years have changed them both. Eilidh is crippled by grief - the deaths of her father, her younger brother, Jamie, and others overwhelm her. And the more Kieran comes to know this new Eilidh, the more he is haunted by the woman she once was. Throughout it all, one question looms large: Is your love still your love if the person they once were no longer exists?

poor choice

Not a good choice for narrator since all others were done by a different narrator that was very different from this one. I only took the hit due to enjoying the other books so much. A really poor choice, truly!

Great conclusion to series

Loved the story. I just don’t care for this voice. She tries too hard to create the voices and it makes it sound like a lisp.

A perfect ending to a awesome series

I wasn't sure about the narrator at first but after the first couple of chapters she brought me fully into the story, I laughed and cried and felt all the emotions of the characters in this book I thought it was very well done. I rarely enjoy the last book in the series as much as I do the first book but Nicole van did not disappoint. I love that she let you into the characters psyche and keeps the story clean, but yet you still feel the passion and love from the romance.

Narration is Terrible. Will Finish Via Kindle

This is a review of the audible narration not the actual story…. The Brotherhood of the Black Tartan series has been absolutely stellar thus far and I am so excited to finish this book. as well as start the author’s other works. But the narration of this last book in the series ‘Remembering Jamie’ is performed by a different narrator and I just couldn’t get past chapter 3. I should have listened to a sample of the audio before purchasing. The narrators Scottish and make accents are just not good and are distraction. I will finish the series via Kindle.

Amazing series

The entire series is wonderful and worth the listen. The scottish accent and wording makes the reading so much more endearing. enjoy

Prefer the reader of the previous books

I love the story but was very disappointed in the reader. I’m sure she’s exactly the right voice for other books but this one just wasn’t it.
