A Sweet Romance

Very well researched historically. Very good action and held my interest the entire reading. and the romance was very sweet and historically appropriate.

Predictable

An easy listen and cute story, however it was very predictable from the start of the story.

Clean and sweet

The Narrator squeezes herself to speak. I do not enjoy listening to her, pardon the frankness.

I loved the fictional story intertwined with actual history. Mysterious curves and twist, compassion and kindness prevail over evil. Wonderfully written.

A Wonderful Story!

This was my first book by Sian Ann Bessey. It was very enjoyable! She is good at building suspense. You can tell she is a seasoned author. Also, I love books with a heroine that inspires me. I can't wait to read what else she has written!

I just love the voice actor Noah Wall. Anything she reads is entertaining and you can get just lost in her telling of the story. Always a wonderful reprieve from stressful days at work.

What a happy surprise!!!

Sian Bessey and Noah Wall are new to me. Both are extremely talented...making this book a surprisingly good listen. The story was creative and well written, and the characters were strong and likeable. I will read the next book(s) in the series and look for other books by this author.

Great Story, awesome narration and no lingering storyline…..

The story is rich with history even though it’s nonfiction. It’s clean and full of twists. The only thing I wished was for is a longer and more detailed love story and ending.

Captivating clean romance with a mystery to be solved

I really enjoyed this book! It has a hint of, “the Scarlet Pimpernel“ and the appeal of a Jane Austen novel. I was so hooked I stayed up reading half the night to finish it.while I doubt the reality of the situation would’ve played out quite in this way, it was enjoyable to read a story with likable, kind, and well-meaning characters. The bad guys, were seriously bad guys. And there is a little bit of violence in here, although not graphic for those of you who are concerned about that. The bottom line is, I loved reading it, and will read it again. It was an excellent clean romance, with a bit of mystery.
