Pierce Finds His Place

Great series!!

I do love and enjoy this series!! This book was very good and helped push the story along to the next book. The writer has a way of nicely making all these books feel like one big movie! I love love Eric G. Dove as a narrator which was my original reason for starting this series. I wanted to listen to more books he has narrated. But now I’m also hooked on the Bluegrass series!! What a fun series!!

I loved it! I didn't think I'd enjoy Pierce as much as I did.

Definitely An Entertaining Read

It's been quite a few years since I read Pierce and Tammy's story. The narration was excellent, and a large part of the story was lighthearted and humorous. Visiting the people who live in Keeneston is always entertaining.

There was a fair amount of suspense while Pierce was under investigation. With all of the incidents involving the bad guys trying to get rid of Pierce and Tammy, I thought there might have been a higher level of tension. However, that did not prevent me from completely enjoying the story.

I also enjoyed Pierce and Tammy's romance, although I have to admit I felt Pierce got off a little too easily. After Tammy spent two years pining for him while he ran hot and cold, I thought he should have had to work a bit harder to win her over. In particular, the scene at the café stood out to me. When Candy and Jasmine were talking about Tammy, I wanted Pierce to speak up and defend her. Since he didn't, I felt he should have had to do a little more groveling afterward.

There were bad guys, but they weren't the ones I initially suspected. The truly dangerous villains eventually came to light.

The lightheartedness, humor, and romance were very much appreciated in this book, and I'm looking forward to the next installment in the series. The narration was excellent as well. Rating: 4.5 Stars
