Knowledgeable book
Reiki for Pets is a very knowledgeable book. The author made sure that they went over all of the information in easy to understand language. I truly enjoyed the experience of listening to this book. I received this audio book for free and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Excellent comprehensive intro to reiki
I thought this was a great comprehensive introduction to reiki for pets. It was thorough and went over everything from the background of reiki to how to find a practitioner to how to become one yourself. It starts off with the basics of reiki and human practice. Then it goes into the benefits. I like that the author notes that reiki is not a religious based practice nor is it a replacement for medical or veterinary treatment. It is something to use in tandem. The section on pets was very detailed and emphasized that you should only perform reiki if your pet is willing. There was also a very extensive part about essential oils. The author gives advice on several oils that are safe for pets and that all should be diluted in a carrier oil before using as pets are much more sensitive to smells than humans. Then a list of oils that can be toxic is given noting that it is not complete and any oils used should always be run by a veterinarian. I appreciated these warnings because often in books about holistic medicine the practice is being offered as a replacement for western medicine not as a compliment to it.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in reiki for themselves or their pets. It encompasses all aspects of the practice in a small book. The narrator was pleasant to listen to and spoke clearly. 4 stars.

Not My Thing
Reiki for Pets: Life Force of Wellness
A Beginner's Guide to Energy Healing Their Loved Ones

I know a lot of people swear by Aromatherapy and all that goes with it. I never heard of Reiki before. I was curious about anything that could benefit our cat. I guess I am the skeptic, and don't believe all the claims. If it works for others, great.
The narration was OK, but too high pitched to listen to comfortably.
