Publisher's Summary

Knox Baker has been missing for weeks. When his cell phone is discovered in Farah Cotton’s possession, his family wants to know how she obtained it. Always deceitful, Farah quickly devises a clever lie to buy time. The problem is that there is one living person who knows the truth - Eleanor McClendon.

Della Baker, Knox’s mother, senses that Farah is lying. To help discern her son’s whereabouts, she calls upon two deadly family members from Mississippi. They waste no time converging on Platinum Lofts with one mission in mind - to find their lost family member no matter who they must kill in the process.

Farah goes on a wild chase to find Eleanor before anyone else does. If she fails, it could mean the end of her relationship with Slade and possibly her life.

Easily distracted, Farah’s lust for murder and mayhem is heightened when she unexpectedly meets people just like her. She’s immediately sucked into their world when her thirst for blood is validated by newfound friends. Will Farah Cotton survive, or will her lies be the end of her?

Narrator

The narrator changed the pronunciation of names and they were different from the first book. That was irritating. Overall it was good but would have been better with a different narrator.

Horrible Narrator

The first book and narrator was the best. I really struggled listening to this book I work at night and the narrator is key for me. Just wish they kept the original narrator from the first book this one was trash and past dry.

Wish they kept the same narrarator

The narration sucked in the worse way. She said LE-za's name right in the beginning then just changed it for the rest of the story but worse is the way she read. Some sentences didn't make sense because of where she put her pauses and her overall tone. The book way good, jumped right in where she left off - I don't like how they killed Mooney at the end tho.

Tlees review

Book was great the ending I’m still trying to figure out. Did not like the ending. I would like for the readers to use the same voices for all their series on the audible books. The voices distinguish the characters in the book. When you go to the second series a new voice in my opinion changes the character.

The narrator suck

The narrator did a horrible job, it took me so long to get through this book. She changed names and used the same voice for all the characters. The book itself was good but not as good as the first one. The written struggle writing this one in my opinion. For some of the characters to be so smart and Streetwise but in some chapters the was so dumb and Farrah could run circles around them. One question would have shut all her lies down.

ok

The fact that a different person narrated the book threw me off because it was harder to know who what talking but it was still a great story the ending was better in part 2 than 1

No to the Narrator

The narrator changed the characters names, therefore, changing the characters. Should use the same narrator for series.

The narrator made this book unbearable!

The narrator was honestly awful. I found myself zoning out and missing parts of the book. The story isn’t that good but the narrator of book 1 was WAYYYY better. This narrator sounds like she’s either reading a children’s book or she’s a new anchor. Either way it’s AWFUL
