innovative storyline

it took a while for the story to build up but once it begAN to take off I couldn't stop listening. a great story for today's times.

Five stars if you get ray porter to narrate the next book, all of the naval combat was fantastic. Some of the FJ elements can take you out of it but for the most part I thought it was great

Scary that this could become reality

Love these geopolitical thrillers. China will eventually need to be dealt with. This might be a scenario that starts the process.
The narrator isn’t great. Sweet deep voices are good for radio and television, bad for reading books. His characters sound like robots, and all sound the same.

Geopolitical Thriller!

Author does a great job setting up the technological ties and their economical impacts that sets off the war ahead - by that point you’re bought in on everything. Great book!

Great story. Scary possibilities. Almost too realistic. Characters well done. Kept me on edge of my seat

This was an excellent sea story. Tightly written well defined characters with several stories intertwined.

Beware. Be warned.

A frightening possibility put into words of fiction. Superbly thought out & put together. An excellent storyline with appropriate & appealing characters. A big, bold story from a superb author.

Where did the time go?

This is one of those books that is hard to stop listening too. The scenario is believable and not full of over the top superhero SF guys single handedly taking on the world and saving the rest of us with their "slow is smooth" BS. LOL. I listen to audio books when I drive and found myself wanting to drive further to keep listening. Will look for more from this author.
