Well written and well researched description of the rescue operation of Ethiopian Jews thru Sudan.

Loved it

This book was fantastic. Learning about the back story and main people who made this happen was amazing and the entire operation is just fascinating and the telling of it gripping and entertaining. It seems unbelievable, which makes it even more amazing that it is! I got the book after hearing a recorded zoom interview with the author and Dani, which was just as fantastic.

I enjoyed the premise of this book. It’s an incredible account of what really happened.
I listened to about half in detail, but then skipped through. Glad I learned of this important story that I had never heard of prior to listening to this book.

Brilliant!!!

A very exciting and emotional retelling of the dramatic rescue of Ethiopian Jews. As an Israeli/American I am so proud of my fellow citizens for their courage, ingenuity, sensitivity and just plain chutzpah. This is how we have survived!!!

monotonous narrator

Loved learning about this story....but it was a struggle all along with the monotonous voice of reader.

Well paced

Action packed true adventure. James Bond and Indiana Jones are child’s play when compared to this daring and unbelievable escapade.

I saw the Netflix movie and got curious about the larger story. I’m in awe of the courage of all the participants!

What an interesting account from beginning to end. It was breathtaking and exciting to hear the first hand account of this phenomenal story. I am so proud that somebody took the time to write this thorough and riveting story.
