Lengthy and juicyy

I love me a urban novel or should I say a relatable novel this book is very entertaining and has the length that you need to have a good audible read experience with your feet up just get ready for the ride lots of laughs and omg moments in this book i definitely recommend this for the ladies who like to dive into there books and tie it to something you actually see or seen in your life good job author

Page turner!

I couldn't turn this book off! I enjoyed it so much I would like to see the story in a movie. The narrators did an amazing job and kept me wanting more. I feel like I know all the characters but I'm in love with David. I can't wait to listen to book two! The author is very creative. Please keep sharing your gift with us!

Must Read

Loved the story! Following Jasper and David through the struggles of their relationship reminds me of things I'vepersonallygone through. When a story makes me feel emotions for the character, is when I know it's a great book. I am disappointed that David's a Cowboys fan but I guess I can look past that fault 😉
I can't wait for the next book. I am mad at David for not telling Jasper who he has to work with at the end of the book. I need to know how that conversation goes!

A new author has much to tell!

I loved listening to the audio version of this new story that has emerged of a young lady struggling in her personal life and business. She meets a man with similar struggles, in different backdrops. This close up into the day to day lives of each character by switching narrations in each chapter was nice, I enjoyed both perspectives on the situations at hand. I am excited to continue the journey of metaphors the author provides for deep situations. Word poetry mixed with harsh reality and sexy situations caught my eye in this journey. There is so much to give from this author you can feel the rise of future greats works,like a sweet loaf of bread about to bake to perfection...(a little spin and example of the metaphors, Blu Jay would say!) I almost felt like this could be a good novela with so many interesting characters yet to be fully explored. I give all the applause and congratulations to the author Montoya for putting in the work to conceive of a book that has surprising verbiage, interpretation and heart. A great first work of art that leaves the readers wanting to be fed more! I am rooting for the main characters and am intrigued to see where the author takes them!

Must Read

After all these years, I still enjoy dipping my toes into the literal fiction pool of new authors to find out if their writing works for me or not. Books like Recipe For Disaster works for me. I listened to this one on audio and felt the narration was excellent. It was a captivating story that kept me wanting more. I would highly recommend it.

I loved the book. I was able to complete. It was great and i was very pleased with references to the location in which the story took place, which helped with the connection of the story. Narrator did a great job and the book was not too long.

David Brooks

Loved this book. The woman voice had to grow on me lol but when David brooks started I was in love. Such a romantic book. Definitely a good read. Part II???

The urban culture and vibe through out the book did not disappoint! The chapters were intriguing and kept you wanting more! can not wait for book number 2!! ♥

Amazing book with a lovely ending

I truly enjoyed this book and it's clear message of healing from past wounds! I hope there will be a sequel!!

The juicy is getting good

Binge listened to this book because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Good book and storyline. I think alot of us can relate to haters, skanks, insecure fools, backstabbing and love. This book has it all. Great read can’t wait for the next book.
