nice read... ish

I want the book the story. The narrative was okay, there was distinguishing voices or I should say the voices were distinct, but it almost seemed like there were some AI_Help in writing the book or in editing it... i will most likely will try book 2... (well depending on the reviews, if this didn't change much, then I may not)
You the next reader may enjoyed this book. It is a good read well. Audio read, you know, you listen to the book, but the story was good. It was a little unique..
And an ominous ending...
& cliffhanger for the next book or 2...

3 Stars, this one's a maybe

This has potential, but the next book needs to be more polished than this one. The story has plenty of action, adventure, and that sweet, sweet leveling dopamine hit, but much of the actions and decisions of the MC come off as "because the plot needs to happen". I can admit that some decisions could be chalked up to a barely adult woman being thrown into an almost alien world with next to no guidance from "the system", but then you have decisions that make no sense at all. The performance was ok, but delivered slowly. Many areas were just a slog to get through. The world-building was interesting, though I wish it were fleshed out a bit more, particularly with the why of it all. The powers are cool, but I'd have preferred more magic-based than physics-based skills, especially with lightning-based powers. This book was ok and I'm "so-so" when recommending it.

Good plot and overall good narration. Needs a bit better editing because there are several sections where a sentence or part of sentence are repeated which break the flow of the book.

The story is really fun, and I really enjoy what we see of the main character so far. Can’t wait for more.
