Publisher's Summary

The electrifying conclusion to the New York Times best-selling series Children of Eden that follows Rowan as she leaves behind the paradise she’s always dreamed of and infiltrates Eden to save her family and friends.

Rowan is finally in Harmonia, an Earth-friendly, sustainable commune in the wilderness she always thought was dead. Even in this idyllic world, she finds no peace. Harmonia has strict rules - and dire consequences. Thinking about Eden is forbidden, but she’s determined to rescue the loved ones she left behind. Though her friends are in terrible danger, her pleas for help are ignored.

After months of living as one with nature, a shocking reminder of her past pushes Rowan to act. With help from new friends, she infiltrates Eden. What she discovers is even worse than the situation she left behind. In the chaos of civil war, Rowan and her friends join forces with the surviving Second Children trapped inside. They fight for their lives and for the fate of humanity in this broken Earth.

Absolute awe

I have listedned to all three books and by far one of the best tales written compared to others with a twist of a future world. Such a beautiful way to end the books that truly created only a new beginning!! Wow. Such a wonderfully heartfelt masterpiece.

Meh ending to a good series

I really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series - I loved the world and the characters. This book though...it really lost its spark. There were a handful of plot and character issues that we're hard to overlook. I was also a little disappointed with Sarah Grayson's narration. I thought she did a great job on the last 2! But this one... There were several times I didn't know who was speaking; she didn't differentiate voices as well as she has in the past or as well as I would have hoped.

Overall, wrapped up the story well, but didn't live up to the level of writing, plot, or characters of the previous books.
