Fabulous story with excellent character depth, well written and beautifully narrated. This author has created a full end to end story covering four Scottish lords and the powerful women they married

An Ode to Highland Love and Desire.

A sizzling, sweep-you-off-your-feet escape to Medieval Scotland! This duo was utterly captivating. The prose is as lush as the Scottish Highlands, the romance brims with soul-deep feeling and scorching heat, and the narrator's brogue-laden performance is pure magic. I felt every heartache and every spark of desire. An unforgettable listen.

Great two story audio book

These audio books are about the two younger brothers of four brothers. each with their own stories. As always with this author's book. The characters are well developed and the Sam with the plot. The last books finishes out the series nicely. I listened to this audio book on my kindle with Audible. Narrative was well paced and easy listening. The Scottish accent was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this audio book. I did receive this book as an ARC audio. I am leaving an honest and voluntary review.

Loved this audiobook. Such emotion

I’ve previously reviewed each story and have enjoyed the brother’s quests to find love.
This time I’m immersing myself in the narration and could not be happier.
Isla Ross did a superb job of telling these stories, her voice was perfect for the setting and time period of these books.
I received this audiobook from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Book 3 review
Highlander Spurned

Wow! Beautifully written!
A powerful & emotional story!

I could not put this story down once I started it, I was totally immersed and invested in what was happening.
From the evil that had come into the village spreading fear and uncertainty to the peril that they were experiencing from the Kings actions.
There is danger, death, persecution, a never give up attitude, forgiveness, passion, some steamy scenes to a love that knows no bounds.
A powerful and emotional at times story that had me both anxious and tearing up.
With loveable characters, including an owl called Hazel this story was definitely a winner for me.

This is the third book in the Rebellious Highland Hearts series featuring Kerr Mackay and the woman he pines after, Rose MacAlister.
Their story starts off as a love / hate relationship of which Rose despises him and his family for the way they have treated the men in hers.
Best read in order as a series to get the full impact of the people and storyline.
I thoroughly recommend both this series as well as this story, that I adored.
Anxiously awaiting Brodie’s story which I have no doubt will be just as amazing as this one was.

Book 4 review
Highlander Fated

Wow! So much emotion!
Brilliant conclusion to a great series.
I’ve loved all of Jayne’s previous Rebellious Highland Hearts series but this one was something extra special.
With Brodie being an illegitimate son how could he and Lady Greer be anything more than friends.
She was so far above his station that falling in love and becoming betrothed was not a possibility for them.
So with my heart wanting everything to work out between them, the tension I felt as I was reading had my feelings all over the place.
I could not read fast enough at some moments of the story, anxiously waiting for the plot to play out the way I wanted it to.
Wow! The actions taken totally floored me.
Then again this is the 1400’s and showing the harshness of the times this definitely added to the storyline.
How brilliantly Jayne’s novel and characters had come alive in my mind, leading up to the love they both shared for each other, the pain they went through, the resignation of their situation and then the aftermath of the battle.
A must read to find out whether Greer and Brodie have their happily ever after.
A truly beautiful and at times emotional story that I absolutely loved and recommend that you read.

4 brothers find love

This is the story of the 2 younger brothers finding love in Scotland in the 1400’s. The stories contain drama, humor, heartbreak, and a beautiful love story. Ms Castel takes us through highs and lows as each brother finds their perfect mate. The narrator further adds to the story with her delightful narration. I highly recommend this entertaining story of a wonderful family.
