Publisher's summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of the Reapers MC and Silver Valley series comes an anthology of extras and never-before-released material.

Charming Bastard

I first met Riley Boone when I was four years old. We moved to Callup, Idaho, after my dad blew out his back and had to go on disability. Boonie's family lived next to ours. Every afternoon he'd swagger off the school bus after kindergarten like a conquering king. For the first week, he ignored me, until I impressed him by climbing nearly 30 feet up in the tree behind his trailer. They had to call the fire department to get me down, but it was worth it to see the respect in his five-year-old eyes. He gave me a worm in honor of my accomplishment. I fell in love. The next day he made me eat the worm, and our relationship has been complicated ever since.

"Sticky Sweet"

Horse and Marie met for the first time in Reaper's Property. Now experience this moment through his eyes.

"Skunked"

Marie has some big news to share with Horse - news that will change both their lives forever....

"Sugar and Spice"

A prequel to Reaper's Fall, this story features Painter and Melanie's first meeting.

Contains mature themes.

If I'd wanted a cook book, I would have bought one.

I was so excited to see this behind the scenes book and was even more excited that it was on sale for $11 from $20 although it was still a little pricy for a 3 hour book.
I was fuming with anger and felt completely ripped off within 30 minutes into the 1st chapter!! It was redundant with authors notes and recipes - yes - full recipes for pies, bread and skunk smell removal. What a waste. I'll be requesting a refund!

Though the book is worth the listen it's too short

Any additional comments?

I did really enjoy this book but I didnt realize it was only 3 hours and I don't belive that a 3 hour book should cost a credit but if you don't mind get cuz it's a good story

Good if you have the Romance Package!

I enjoyed this book. Definitely gave you a little more background on the characters from the previous books, as well as different perspectives for the upcoming books. NO NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK however, I only listened to it because it came with the Romance Package.. other then that you can skip to the next book. Overall I did enjoy this book! I love the narration, definitely made me feel closer to the characters! I LOVE Tatiana Sokolov, she has an amazing voice. And Joanna is a great writer of this series. 💙

Not necessary or worth the money

You can just skip this. it isn't necessary to follow the series and it's really just a few deleted chapters, from the books. Just go on to Reapers fall.

Worth a credit? 🤷‍♀️

Reapers and Bastards by Joanna Wylde is a cute, flirty, fun anthology of short stories that gives us a quick glance into the lives of a few of the Reapers and Silver Bastards.

Is it worth a credit? 👎 No, but I would suggest you save your credit and buy it outright if it’s under $14.

Ties a lot together

This author is phenomenal. as the books go on there are more and more of those moments that blow you away. I love how so many things get tied together. this Reapers MC series has been a great distraction from my reality that's been difficult after being in my own motorcycle accident and followed that more recently I lost my sister. I enjoy just listening to these audiobooks while I'm at work in the office, I just float away into the Reapers MC world.
As for the book itself, I've listened to several biker audiobooks in the past several months. The Reapers MC is definitely the most enjoyable. I questioned paying for this 4.5 book because it's short but it was worth it for sure. Don't let the length fool you, it ties a lot together.
I just wish audiobooks were cheaper. I'm going broke over them. ha. but these readers are so great. well, the female is better in my opinion.

Love most of Joanna Wylde books but not this one

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If this had a complete story.

What was most disappointing about Joanna Wylde’s story?

This was just story notes so not a real story. It was interesting but not worth a credit.

Which character – as performed by Sean Crisden and Tatiana Sokolov – was your favorite?

Not sure

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It was a good fill in for the other books. Kinda cute

Good - but save your audible credit

This was good… I am hoping it’s a major piece that help link the last two books in the series. Honestly, wish I’d skipped and saved the credit as I already had the story this book includes. “Recipes” in the middle of the book were annoying. Should haves until the end for readers. Still a good book and I love the narrators and author. By far the best series I’ve read. Get all the books in order but you can skip this one and be ok. (Pretty much what the description says)
