Magnificent

I so enjoyed this story and the narration. I love it when I can get lost in a book. Robin Miles narration never disappoints. I will stop not writing now so I can start the next book in the series. 🥰

I'm not going to lie - I snatched waaaaay too much time from doing work to listen to this amazing story. Characters? Check! Captivating Storyline? Check! Afrofuturism at it's best? Check!

Immersive Story, Memorable Narrator

I need more from this world! Please write another book! It was so fascinating and enthralling, the world was new and interesting. I hope there are more stories written in this world.

Too much tell and tropes

Too much tell, not enough show. Tension relies on characters being confused or ignoring things rather than experiencing/going through/confronting. Twists were all fun but predictable.

Robin Miles is enigmatic and really brought this story to life. I was reading and listening to audio on and off. By the end I just switched to audio because Robin made it so exciting and enjoyable.
