Publisher's Summary

Country music star Boone Thrasher has never walked away from a fight, and he's willing to put everything on the line to win the woman he can't live without in the conclusion to the Real Dirty Duet by USA Today best-selling author Meghan March.

In Nashville, country stars are a dime a dozen.

I swore I'd never get caught up with one, but Boone Thrasher made a liar out of me.

I said I'd never put my heart on the line, but he didn't ask before he stole it.

Now we're facing my worst fears, and we'll see if this country boy is tough enough to see it through.

Girls like me don't get happily ever afters...but maybe he'll prove that wrong, too.

A PERFECT COMBINATION OF EVERYTHING I LOVE

There's absolutely no hesitation when it comes to rating and reviewing a Meghan March book.. especially one that's narrated by Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York whose voices bring to life the varied characters, the desired feels and the myriad of moods that can be found in this talented Author's work. And this Duet is 5 star perfection all the way because you can rest easy and know your emotions are in safe hands.. yes, she's going to shake them about, but it's done in the most delicious and toe curling ways.

In this dual POV Duet you don't just get a sexy hot romance with humor and heat between a sassy stubborn overworked Bartender who hates all things 'celebrity' and Country music's cocky, hot as Hell Golden Boy who now sees that he dodged a bullet when his bitchy ex girlfriend suddenly married someone else. You get mystery, danger, a bitter-sweet revelation, a bad mouthed parrot and drama too. Boone and Ripley frustrate each other as much as they excite one another and, when the flirtatious push/pull banter and sexual chemistry between these two characters finally leads to more, it leaves a couple who respect each other, work well together and who seemlessly fit into one another's lives. The drama and angst came from other sources.. from an unsolved double murder, from a bird kidnapping, from exes who didn't want to stay that way and from paparazzi headlines. Boone is a dirty talking, sweet, dominant, sexy alpha and Ripley is a down-to-earth, level headed, no bullpoop kinda woman and she can more than handle Boone.. both in and out the bedroom.

Worth a credit? Yes definitely - this Duet was such a delicious delight and Meghan March is an auto download for me.

Confused...

Great story, great performance, not the best ending. Expected more. After having to buy it in two parts you can't help but feel cheated. Not a fan of splitting a book in half for no other reason than to charge for it twice.

Another Awesome Book!

Another amazing story by Meghan March! I love Boone & Ripley's story!
Ripley was a great character because no matter how much life knocked her down, she never broke. She stuck to her beliefs and was a hard working girl and was never going to let anyone think she was a good digger. Boone may be a big star but he really is a country boy next door. I love a strong man who loves his family and his roots. These two together are pure chemistry. I love how she thinks she is trying to not fall for him and every time he is there he melts in seconds when he gets close ;) I also loved the little visits from old friends like Holly & Creighton! This entire "dirty world" that the author has created has been amazing!

The narration is perfect but that is no surprise when it's Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York.

This review is on both books since it's really just one story. Personally I do not understand duets that come out 2 weeks apart, seems to me it should have just been1 book since it was completed when book 1 was published anyway. After book 1 of each duet I've read in this world I was annoyed by the cliffhanger because it felt like we got 1/2 a book so this time I waited for both books before I started!

Great story! AAA Performance!!

I love the series… But was very disappointed that this story was broken up into two parts. The story could have easily been in one audiobook. Sad to think this might be my last Meghan March purchase.

Love.

Boone Thrasher- I mean seriously what a great name! So glad that Meghan March was able to write a phenomenal story that can go with that fantastic name. The narration was superior, story was full, and character development was well done. Great book and no reservations for a recommendation on this series.

Great story!

I enjoyed this second audiobook in a duet (you must listen to first book for story to make sense) very much. It was the perfect blend of humor, romance and a little suspense. Sebastian York and Elena Wolfe did their usual perfect job of narration!

The perfect conclusion to this duet

Book 2 in the Real Dirty Duet series concludes the story of country music star Boone Thrasher and bar owner Ripley Fisher. We get the answer to our questions from book 1, along with some unexpected insight into Ripley's broken family. Written in dual POV I loved the story and again the characters, I loved Boon's never give up attitude and Ripley's quiet strength. The whole meet the family thing turns into quite the event, not at all what I was expecting, but hey ho, it worked in my heroin's favour. A little excitement, a little romance, a few WTFs, oh and not forgetting her love of writing super sexy alpha males (and with that comes the hot sex), and we have another winner from Meghan March. Again the perfect narration. Love Sebastian York, but got to say Elena Wolfe is his perfect side kick, I also love the way she nails any male perspectives, my favourite female narrator, I could listen to her voice all day. Loved it.

she's done it again

this was a nice deviation of the sassy heroine. a little bit of uncertainty makes it more humbling and realistic to the dreamers that have suffered hard knocks.....the ending g is as it always has to be and some would say stereotyped but if you enjoy knowing the storyline and just love waiting to see the plot unfold then this is the one to read......love Mr York's voice.... it suits the alphas every time. onwards and upwards
