Publisher's Summary

The Remingtons is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series. Voted Best Book Series by Supportive Business Moms, UK

In Read, Write, Love...

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled, and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the steamy afternoon sparks a wild and sexy ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

Fun, but oh, so romantic

After listening to this book, I want to move to the Cape and become part of Leanna's group of fun friends. I also have to wonder if there might be another man around there like Kurt. He is such a wonderful, sexy man. Their relationship is such a sweet romance. It is also very flirty, and very hot, that makes our imagination go wild. I loved this book. It was such a fun, but oh, so romantic story. The narrator, B.J. Harrison, does an outstanding job with it.

5 Stars for Read, Write, Love!

Audio Book Review: Kurt and Leanne are the true definition of opposites attract in Read, Write, Love by Melissa Foster.

I adored this story because I truly felt like I related to Leanne in so many ways. She makes a mess making her jams, her life is loud and a crazy form of chaos; so the complete opposite of Kurt's life. Kurt likes his peace and quiet. He has deadlines to hit and cannot afford distractions every day. But when Leanne needs his help, all bets are off in this steamy love story.

The narrator is one of my favorites, and BJ always does a fantastic job of bringing Melissa's books to life and bringing you right into the story. I find myself listening to the books during my drive, at work, and sometimes the most inconvenient places, but I never want it to end! Highly recommend this audio book to anyone that wants a hot book to pass the time.

Kurt and Leanna- Opposites Attract

Hunky Kurt Remington spends his days writing thrillers. He likes his very organized, secluded life. He spends his summers on Cape Cod. Plowing into his life was Leanna Bray and of course her dog Pepper. She is his exact opposite (they say opposites attract don’t they?). B.J Harrison’s soothing voice took you through the ups and downs, ins and outs of this romance in the making. Of course Kurt was my book boyfriend du jour and I was jealous of Leanna. However, I loved their HEA!

Opposites attract..

Kurt is wonderful. He is not playboy. He stays to himself, works non-stop writing, and isn't looking for love. Which means of course he meets Leanna and she disrupts his entire world. I love how opposite these two are. One is organized and settled in their way while the other is unorganized, messy, and is just finding out what they are meant to do in life. Together they work. They keep each other grounded and real while also learning how to give of themselves and change some of their habits.

Opposites Attract

WOW!! Kurt & Leanna are WONDERFUL, and so different that it almost makes sense for them to find each other!! Melissa Foster has done it, yet again! Not only that, but she, again, utilizes the talents of BJ Harrison to add that extra feeling through Kurt & Leanna's beginning.

The instant chemistry between Kurt & Leanna is what everyone in life hopes for. And, her relationships with her friends and how quickly Kurt becomes part of their group! Kurt finally realizes what it is like to get his head out of his creative world and explore life, while Leanna realizes what happens when she actually makes plans and figures out exactly what she wants to do.

Lots of Love and Laughter

Kurt and Leanna are total opposites. Kurt is neat, tidy and a planner where Leanna is messy and fly's by the seat of her pants. Leanna stumbles into Kurt's world one day and messes up his neat and tidy. They both make such an impression on each other that they can't stop thinking of each other.

Kurt and Leanna compliment each other very well. They bring things into the others life that they didn't know they needed. This story has plenty of laughs and you get all the feels. You fall in love with the characters and want to have a beach cottage with your best friends around to make great memories. BJ Harrison is the narrator and he does such a great job of sucking you into the story and never wanting to leave. I listen to these books in my car and Harrison makes me feel like I am right there at Seaside listening to Kurt and Leanna having sex with the window open or having fun with the other Seaside girls. I just want to drive and hear the whole story in one setting. I can't wait for the next Seaside story.

A story of love most unexpected. Kurt's world is turned upside down when he helps Leanna. Their chemistry oozes off the page, This is one I couldn't put down, and I loved this story and the narrator. I definitely recommend this book.

Great series

Kurt Remington is a novelist who is always focused and always on time for his deadlines. Leanna Bray is a free spirit who sells jellies/jams and has no order in her life and nothing is on time. When Leanna shows up in front of Kurt's beach house searching for her dog who ran off in to the ocean he reluctantly goes and helps her, not knowing his life will never be the same. Kurt and Leanna have an instant attraction and you can feel their chemistry building throughout the book. Read, Write, Love at Seaside is a sweet, fun loving book. What an enjoyable, easy read! I absolutley love the audible version of this book as well. B.J. Harrison has such a wonderful voice to listen to with this book. He brings all the characters to life.

My Thoughts on Read, Write, Love

I almost wonder if Melissa Foster was trying to save the best for last with Kurt Remington's book. If that was the plan then she absolutely succeeded in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I have loved the Remington series from start to finish. Every book was filled with so much love and heart and family commradery. Big families where I get to watch all the siblings fall in love one by one are one of my favorite things to read about (or listen to as I did with this one). This whole series hits the mark for all those, but Kurt is going to hold a special place for me now. Not only is he a writer so obviously he has a love of books, but I just loved his and Leanna's whole story. The exciting first meeting, the way these two opposites attracted, the way he helped her feel comfortable with herself in a way no other guy has every been able to do before, and the way she could get him out of his own head and away from his computer to enjoy life. There was just so much to love about these two as a couple. And love them I did.

Once again BJ Harrison did a fantastic job with narration. His voice is soothing but also manages to convey a lot of emotion. It's a great fit for these books.

I now only wish I had started the Love in Bloom books from the beginning, but I absolutely plan to go back and catch all that I have missed. I want all the Melissa Foster I can get my hands (or ears) on now.

Amazing Story

Authoraholic meets no boundaries Jam Maker…….
When Kurt rescues Leanna and her dog from the ocean the attraction hits him hard and that attraction was instant. Talk about two people who are complete opposite. I just love this audio book. With summer hear, I sit pool side with my headphones. Or I listen with I drive to and from work each day. What better way to listen to BJ Harrison. I love his narration, he has such a calming way about him.
This review is of my own opinion.

Two worlds collide

Leanna and Kurt are opposites. He is organised and enjoys the solace of his beach house for his writing. Leanna, on the other hand is the complete opposite. She is unorganised and works in chaos, yet they cannot stop thinking about each other.

They meet by chance when Kurt comes Leanna's rescue on the beach during the rain, and when Leanna returns to say thank you, things get a little and they realise there is some truth in the old saying, opposites attract.

During Kurt and Leanna's story, we also begin to meet the girls at Seaside and start to understand the closeness and feeling of family they share. This story only touches on these themes, yet they all have their own story to tell.

Opposites definitely attract

They have different personality's and shouldn't be a match but from the moment Kurt rescues Leanna and her dog he is hooked. She is quirky, untidy and not sure what she wants in life, he is organised, tidy bordering on OCD and knows what he wants in life. They form an easy friendship which blossoms into a full blown romance. And on top of it all he loves her dog. This is a great introduction to the next series from Melissa the Seaside series. We get to meet Leanna's best friends who all have different sides to them but all fit. Loved this book, had the right amount of laughter, tears and romance. Definitely worth a listen.

I love Kurt Remington

I love this book so very much as the chemistry between Kurt and Leanna is electric. They are totally opposites attracting. The audio brings the book so much to life that it felt like I was right there with them both as their story unfolded. Highly recommended.
