Publisher's summary

Melt continues to grow and devour, chomping its way through Manhattan - and beyond - as the survivors begin to realize what kind of world Melt is creating....

A new, intensely thrilling series, Melt has received unanimous praise from beta testers and early reviewers alike. Written by JJ Pike and Mike Kraus, Melt examines a part of our world that we often take for granted. Add in a dash of real science and a glimpse of what the future might hold in store and you're presented with the recipe for Melt: A frighteningly real post-apocalyptic thriller.

How many sharks can you jump in a single series?

The basic plot and storytelling are great. The continued attempt to make the apocalypse PG and church pew approved was tolerable.
But they still try to tell stories about things they don't research. If you think people are promoted from the Army to the Marines, then don't write about anything military.
The plot twists keep me trudging through a children's version of the apocalypse filled with unrealistic magic
