  • Bonus Episode: Why do some homeopaths struggle with cases… and others don’t? with Ian Watson
    Apr 1 2026

In this episode I’m sharing a short excerpt from a live session inside my homeopathic community the Atrium with Ian Watson.

It’s one of those conversations that quietly shifts something. Not by adding more information, but by changing how you see what’s already in front of you.

We explore a question that sits underneath so much of homeopathic practice:

Where does the difficulty in a case actually come from? Because what starts to become clear in this conversation is that it’s often not the case itself. It’s how we’re looking at it.

Ian shares observations from years in practice and teaching, including what separates cases that feel simple from those that feel confusing, why some practitioners thrive while others struggle, and how easily we can overcomplicate what doesn’t need to be complicated.

If you’ve ever found yourself overthinking, second guessing, or feeling like you’re missing something in a case, this will likely land.

    WHAT THIS EPISODE TOUCHES ON

    • Why cases feel difficult (and where that difficulty really sits)
    • The difference between seeing clearly and overcomplicating
    • Why experience often looks like simplicity
    • The “noise vs signal” problem in case-taking
    • Why treating family members can feel harder than treating strangers
    • What shifts when you stop trying to get it “right”

    ABOUT THE ATRIUM

This excerpt comes from a live session inside the Atrium — my online homeopathy community for ongoing learning, conversation, and shared clinical thinking.

It’s a space for practitioners, students, and home users who don’t feel finished with homeopathy, and want to stay connected to it as their understanding deepens.

  • E19 - Why Some Cases Don’t Resolve: Detox, Fertility & Modern Homeopathy with Natasha Burns (Stellar Online Pharmacy)
    Mar 26 2026

This episode I’m joined by Natasha Burns — homeopath, fertility coach, and a leading voice in what’s often called homeopathic detox or the Human Chemistry Method.

This conversation was recorded nearly two years ago when What Heals was Raw Health Rebel Pocast, but it feels just as relevant now.

We go into one of the more debated areas in homeopathy. Detox. Drug layers. Why some cases improve, then relapse. And what to do when progress doesn’t hold.

Natasha shares how she came into homeopathy through her son’s illness, how that led her into practice, and why she chose to specialise in fertility and complex cases.

We talk about antibiotics, steroids, contraceptive pills, and more recent exposures — and how these may continue to affect the body long after they’ve been taken.

This is not about replacing classical homeopathy. It’s about asking what happens when cases don’t fully resolve, and what tools we might need in those situations.

Since we recorded this, Stellar Online, has just relaunched as a registered pharmacy in the UK — a huge step forward for access to a wider range of remedies.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a case, questioned why progress doesn’t hold, or been curious about detox in homeopathy, this is a conversation worth listening to.

    Key takeaways

    • Why some cases improve but don’t hold, and what might be missing
    • Antibiotics, steroids, contraceptive pills and their longer-term impact
    • Detox in homeopathy: what it is, and how it’s used in practice
    • Fertility: why “unexplained” often isn’t unexplained
    • The role of grief, hormones, and environmental factors in conception
    • Why some practitioners integrate detox before returning to classical prescribing
    • The difference between acute prescribing, constitutional work, and layered cases

    We also talk about

    • COVID vaccine detox: what’s being explored clinically and why
    • Steroid layers and why cases can stall or relapse
    • Endometriosis and fertility cases
    • Heavy metals and environmental load
    • The divide within homeopathy and how different approaches can coexist
    • Why education around homeopathy is still so limited

    Nov 5 2025

This episode I’m joined by the brilliant Claire Zarb, homeopath and mentor for practitioners building confident, ethical practice.

We get into Claire’s journey from corporate sales to homeopathy, how a personal health awakening led her to train at the College of Practical Homeopathy, and why a flexible toolkit matters in today’s multilayered cases. • Nosodes without fear: when strep, staph, bowel nosodes and Carcinosin help move a case
    • Potency made simple: why 30C is a solid start, when 200C or higher makes sense, how LMs can be gentle and deep
    • Niching grows clinics: people search by problem, not modality

    • Building confidence in public despite criticism and noise
    • Healy and frequency tools as supportive extras when cases feel stuck

  • E17 - Off-Grid Homeopathy: Treating the Person, Not the Label with Sapna Devi
    Oct 29 2025

In this replay, I’m joined by the amazing Sapna Devi — you’ll know her as The Wild Homeopath.
This is one of your all-time favourite episodes, and for good reason.

We explore the heart of what makes homeopathy so powerful — treating the person, not the label — and how the stories behind our symptoms often hold the key to healing. We talk about never-been-well-since moments, intuition versus repertory, and why learning the remedy picture is everything.

Sapna also shares her practical insights into making placenta remedies and simple autonosodes safely and ethically — a topic she now teaches inside Lisa’s practitioner-level training.

    Key takeaways

    • Why homeopathy treats the person, not the condition
    • What never-been-well-since really means and how to recognise it
    • The Ignatia case that showed how shock can trigger physical illness
    • How intuition and repertory work hand-in-hand in real practice
    • The energetic nature of remedies and why energy medicine is coming full circle
    • Understanding societal “miasms” like fear, control, and the Arsenicum state
    • When to change homeopaths (and why it’s sometimes the right move)
    • The role of trust, intuition, and connection in both patient and practitioner growth

    We also talk about

    • Placenta remedies and simple autonosodes — what they are and why they’re so gentle
    • Self-empowerment and “off-grid” medicine in a changing world
    • The deeper symbolism of the remedy Saccharum (sugar), from slavery to modern addiction
    • Why learning remedy pictures transforms your home prescribing
    • The importance of matching energetically with your homeopath

  • E16 - From the Stars to the Cells: Medical Astrology and Tissue Salts with Natasha Andreo
    Oct 22 2025

This episode I’m joined by the amazing Natasha Andreo, Medical Astrologer, internationally certified Tissue Salts Facial Analyst, and experienced Animal Communicator.

We go into how medical astrology was once part of every doctor’s training, and how each zodiac sign rules a different part of the body. Natasha shares the story of how her rabbits led her to study the moon and how their illnesses matched the moon’s position with uncanny accuracy.

Join us for a fascinating, practical conversation that takes ancient knowledge into the 21st century.

    Key takeaways

    • Your body has a blueprint: birth charts can highlight constitutional strengths and susceptibilities.
    • Head-to-toe map or each zodiac sign
    • How timing matters: use the moon void for review, not initiation.
    • Tissue salts: simple, safe support for mineral balance and how this ties to your zodiac sign
    • Facial analysis: visible clues can point to specific tissue salt deficiencies.
    • From sky to clinic: astrological timing can support launches, surgeries, and big decisions.

    We also talk about

    • What big changes are in store for everyone in 2027
    • How medical astrology once underpinned medicine and why it faded.
    • Why simplicity beats overwhelm when starting with tissue salts.
    • Human Design basics: knowing your strategy and authority for the changes ahead.
    • Animals as teachers, and what Natasha learned from her rabbits.

Natasha is a Medical Astrologer, internationally certified Tissue Salts Facial Analyst, and experienced Animal Communicator. Through extensive study, Natasha has developed a nuanced understanding of how each planet and zodiac sign correlates with specific organs and physiological systems, forming a celestial blueprint within each individual.

Through deep understanding of ancient healing techniques through astrology, she teaches her clients about the body's capacity to receive, hold, and respond to astrological energies that their birth chart contains. This philosophy underpins Natasha’s holistic healing approach, which weaves together planetary alignments, lunar cycles, and astrological insight to identify energetic imbalances and support physical and emotional well-being.

In her practice, Natasha offers deep explorations into tissue salts and provides accessible introductions to medical astrology.

  • E15 - Peace, Love and Homeopathy with Caroline Gaskin
    Oct 7 2025

In this beautifully grounded episode, I’m joined by one of my original teachers, the brilliant Caroline Gaskin — homeopath, educator, and one of the most inspiring voices in women’s health and homeopathy.

We talk about how she first discovered homeopathy through her children, the drop-in clinics that made it accessible to everyone, and what 25 years of practice have taught her about health, energy, and trust.

Caroline shares stories of real-life cases — from coughs and whooping cough to menopause and chronic fatigue — and explains how she blends Narayani combination remedies, bush flower essences, nutrition, and frequency tools like the Healy in her practice.

    We also explore:
✨ Why classical and combination prescribing can coexist beautifully
✨ How our environment, soil, and light affect hormonal balance
✨ Simple ways to support the liver and mineral balance naturally
✨ What she’d give the whole of humanity right now (her answer will make you smile)

This conversation is full of practical wisdom, gentle humour, and the reminder that healing is never just one thing. It’s about energy, integrity, and how we use our attention.

Caroline Gaskin MCPH - Caroline has been in practice for 25 years and is a much-loved lecturer and tutor. Like many women, she came to natural health through her children and first used homeopathy when her son was just 4m old. He had a cough and the GP offered him a sedative. Caroline knew instinctively that she didn’t want to give medicine with unwanted side effects and instead went to see a homeopath at a drop in clinic. The homeopath wanted to know ‘how’ the cough was for him and what he was like as a person. Caroline was fascinated by the difference of approach and the remedies worked. Homeopathy soon became the family’s primary health choice. When her children were old enough she went on to study homeopathy and flower essences. Originally from a fine art background, she has also worked in PR for complementary health and has studied permaculture and sustainable systems.

  • E14 - Are You Listening, RFK..? Homeopathy’s Untold Role in Prevention with Wren Lloyd and Lisa Strbac
    Oct 1 2025

This conversation was first recorded for Homeopathy is Changing Lives with the brilliant Wren Lloyd, and I’m delighted to share it here with you here on What Heals. I also encourage you to check out Wren’s podcast — she’s doing incredible work and you can find it here.

Wren and I go deep into how homeopathy can be the ultimate form of preventative medicine. We talk about what I witnessed recently in A&E that made me even more determined to get remedies into every household, why communities need their own “wise elder” figures again, and how even a handful of remedies in the right hands could transform emergency care.

We also explore the overlaps between nutrition, toxicity, and acute health, from paracetamol and ultrasound detoxes to the surge in PANDAS/PANS. And yes — we even touch on Robert F. Kennedy Jr., homeoprophylaxis, and what might be possible if mainstream medicine truly opened its doors.

  • E13 - The Book That Fell Off the Shelf: Ian Watson on Homeopathy’s Hidden Treasures
    Sep 24 2025

This episode I’m joined again by the brilliant Ian Watson. Ian is one of those rare teachers who can tilt your view a few degrees and suddenly the whole landscape looks different. We go new places together. From the day a book literally fell off a shelf in Watkins and opened the door to Australian Bush Flower Essences, to the lost Arborivital tinctures of Dr Thomas Cooper that may well have inspired Dr Bach. It’s a tour through forgotten treasure and living practice.

We talk about why simplicity beats overload. What Hahnemann might say about where homeopathy sits today. LM potencies and why higher isn’t always higher. Ferrum phos as the great clarifier when an acute is just brewing. Hawthorn as a classic heart tonic with stories that give you chills. Dowsing, remedy machines, and how on earth any of this works in the first place. And we circle back to why acute prescribing can be the most preventative medicine we have.

Ian is also guest teaching on my new practitioner-level PIHAP course. The link to my new Academy is in the show notes, along with Ian’s books. Settle in for a grounded, generous conversation that moves from hidden corners of homeopathic history to the simple truths that change lives today.

    Key takeaways

    • Simplicity over overload: depth with polychrests.
    • Potencies: LMs designed to minimise aggravations; and “higher” ≠ harsher.
    • Ferrum phos: clarifies vague acutes and often resolves the “something’s brewing.”
    • Hawthorn (Crataegus) tincture: a time-tested heart ally with jaw-dropping cases.
    • Arborivital tinctures & Bach: the living-plant, sunlight-infused lineage.
    • Inner authority: insight changes behaviour faster than information.
    • Acute prescribing as prevention: treat the spark, avoid the wildfire.

    We also talk about

    • Vaccine-linked themes showing up unexpectedly in polychrest prescribing
    • Why some methods fade (unless a new generation carries the torch)
    • Gentle prescribing: reducing aggravations without losing momentum
    • Dowsing and machine-made remedies — what works, what to watch
