As a former South African, now living in the USA, this book was very informative about the inside game of SA rugby.

What a great read! I enjoyed the book from start to finish. It provides insight into Rassie as a coach and as a person. I will definitely recommend this book. I read it immediately after reading “Rise” by Siya Kohlisi. Doing so gave me an even better appreciation of Rassie’s autobiography. Amazing!

A true South African hero

Rassie has done more for South Africa and its young democracy in the last 30 years than any politician, bar Nelson Mandela. He is a true leader who knows how to get the most out of men and inspires a nation. This book gives us so much insight into a man who although in the public eye wishes to remain hidden so that others’ achievements can be celebrated.

An interesting and unique life

Remarkable story of a life in rugby. I know very little about the game, but I love watching and learning about it. Most of all, I love supporting the Springboks despite never having been on South Africa - yet.
