Publisher's Summary

They call him brutal.

They call him evil.

And he's all that stands between her and his sex-starved crew.

Captain Kashatok was dangerous long before Syndicorp destroyed his home world. The prickly alien could never go home, anyway - his people consider him a monster. But the cartel doesn’t care what he does, as long as he delivers the goods.

He has a single rule for his crew: no women on board.

Imagine his surprise when the new ship mechanic turns out to be a human female in disguise....

Content warning: Explicit love scenes, dangerous aliens, and heart-pounding action. Intended for mature audiences.

No cliffhangers and a guaranteed HEA. You can listen to this as a stand-alone, although you'll probably enjoy it more if you start with book one in the series, Rescued by Qaiyaan.

Ransomed by Kashatok

I am really enjoying this series. It is just that good. I love Captain Kashatok's one rule of no women on board his ship. Boy was he surprised when his new mechanic is a woman. This story kept me interested from beginning to end. The author, Tamsin Leyland, did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Space Pirates

I love everything about this book! This is book 2 in Lay's Galactic Pirate Brides series and can be read / listened as a stand alone but I think you'll love it even more after reading book 1. I love that Lay narrates her own reads and her voice is so smooth and easy to listen to. I love that she writes strong characters. I especially love these hot alpha pirates being brought down a bit by the love they have for their mates. Oh - and I love the addition of Kashatok's pet! A great story line with betrayal and hope that will have you hooked - along with plenty of character chemistry that will heat up your reader! Great balance, story line, flow - just everything! I can't wait to find out what happens next in book 3! THis book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Absolutely brilliant book

This is book two in Galactic Pirate Brides. You can listen to this one even if you have listened to the one before this one. The plot of this one is full of betrayal action drama and a little steam. The chemistry between the characters is interesting. Since the author of this book was also the narrator she absolutely brought the characters alive. I voluntarily listen and review this book.

Great Story!!

Great Story! You can’t go wrong in listening to a story penned and narrated by Tamsin Ley. Her stories are spellbinding and her narration brings her stories to life. I especially liked this story of “news reporter” Joy’s adventure in disguising herself as a male mechanic to gain insight into the life of a pirate aboard Kashatok’s ship. There’s lots of surprises in store for the listener in this action-packed romantic adventure. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
