Ranger Protection

This is an excellent short book. This book is easy to follow . Tara is having problems and Grady which is a Texas Ranger is always there to save her. I liked how they got along and worked together. Yet another formulaic romance

Don't bother unless you want background noise that you don't have to think about. This book is supposed to be a " Christian" romance but it is really a clean romance where people pray when they are in trouble. I like the total lack of swearing, obscenity, sex scenes and graphic descriptions. I don't like the lack of depth or originality. It's as though the author was told "Throw together a romance using the old Harlequin formula. Just take out the sex scenes, add a little action and put in a couple of prayers and we'll call it a Christian Romamce."

A good introduction to this series

This is a new author for me , and I was anxious to give her a try. Glad I did.
The story belongs to Dr Tara Sims and Texas Ranger Grady West. They were childhood friends, but went their separate ways. She became a physician and is now a mom after adopting a baby and he a Ranger who after 10 years of undercover work and an injury is back home.
When she’s attacked and is obviously in danger, the friendship and attraction grows.
This is a story filled with twists and turns, whodunit as well as hope and romance.
A good introduction to this series , one that is brought to life by the talented narrator.

Entertaining suspense, clean romance, performance

This is a very good mystery with an easy pace and wonderful characters. The clean romance is woven throughout the story. There are some great action scenes. I love the gentle Christian message sprinkled in. This is a very enjoyable book with a happy ending. The performance is very good.

This is a clean Texas romance with a cold case murder to solve. A quick listen.
Dr. Tara Sims and her adopted baby girl are in danger from a masked man in the grocery store parking lot. Texas ranger Grady West, recently returned to town saved them. The two had been friends since childhood and deeper feelings start to develop. The criminal returns and the suspense deepens. There are plenty of suspects and lots of clues. Will Grady be able to protect Tara and Maddie or will evil win?



The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Cindy Piller.

A baby, a doc & a ranger...

Fast paced and action packed! So much is packed into this novella that you’re hooked until the end! A mugging gone wrong, then an attempted kidnapping and Dr. Tara Simms has no choice but to rely on the protection of childhood friend, Texas Ranger Grady West. Can Grady keep her safe? Tara wrestles with this, even after more attempts on her life...and as she sees Grady as more than a friend. Worth the read/listen.

A love story

a sweet story about three people who fall in love, while they were catching a murderer.

Good Suspense & Romance story

Dr Tara was someone who wanted justice, and didn’t trust men. When a mishap happens, and she is concerned about the safety of the adopted daughter she is raising. Grady is there to help her and protect her and the little girl. Especially when he feels it was not a random act. The narration by Cindy Pillar was good , bringing in the emotion and sparks between these two. Good story and good characters.
