Publisher's Summary

Meet Becca Swift! She's got the most overbearing family in the world - because she was raised by wolves. Literally. Becca is a werewolf, and she is part of a loud and crazy, up-in-your-business pack. In her day-to-day life, she tries to keep the fact that she's a werewolf a secret. But then along comes Loren. Loren has legs for days, the most gorgeous smile Becca's ever seen, and a sense of humor that's off the charts. Becca's smitten. Still, when Becca's mother asks her to bring Loren to dinner, Becca's not ready to tell Loren exactly what she is. So she begs her family, for one single night, to "try to act perfectly normal." But "normal" just isn't in the DNA of this pack of werewolves.

hated the end

This was a really great story with a lot of potential, but it left a lot to be desired. I expected at least SOME closure at the end but was left disappointed. still, good story, just the one complaint <3

This story drew barks of laughter from me, well worth a listen. Narrated with true skill.

Needs a sequel

This book is funny and cute but it just ended abruptly with so many things left unresolved. It could easily be a series. Disappointed in the ending.

I’m so confused.....it literally just ends.

I’m so confused, it literally just ends! It ends without the most important part of the whole plot coming to fruition and it doesn’t look like there is any sort of sequel.

Missing a Chapter!! Yup sure are!!

The book is great. But the audio is missing one of the chapters. I’ve read some of the reviews and they say that it “just ended”! In the book, there are 13 chapters, the audio has 12. And that last chapter does tie things together. I’m glad I read along cuz I probably wouldn’t have known. And would have been like WTH!! So for all of you who feel like you got swindled, pick it up on kindle, you find answers.
I love Bridget Essex, her books are great! The narrator, Marina Barrett reads it soo very well!! Great job!! Great listen!!

There are intentional missing chapters.

This audible narration ends before the Novel is complete.

For performance, I include "production" and while Marina Barrett is great. I'm rating it low because the producers chose to publish an incomplete narration.

I'm told by Audible that this is intentionally missing chapters.

"Jose: Got it Adam. The thing is, here in Audible we always let the author select the content that they want to create as an Audible book. When a customer contacts us to check if the book has missing content, we check the tickets that are created, to see if indeed there is missing content, right now there's no missing content on that book."
"Jose: Correct, as I mentioned, the author at the end is the one that tells us what to publish and what not to publish."

Good book to get ready for Thanksgiving!

We all have families of different varieties and sometimes they are chosen rather than birthed to us, but with them you take the good, the bad, or anything in between. Thank you for a great story!

What a great story!

I loved this book but the Audible version doesn’t have whisper sync and cut off the last chapter. Very disappointing!
