I would like my heros to be less... whiny.. the beginning was relatable. I'm a lot like Holly.

obviously, I'll be reading/listening top more books. I love this stuff

Love the book and narration

This is not my first Bridget Essex book and won't be my last. I loved it and absolutely love that it is narrated! I've listened to it twice this week! The narration by Rose Clearwater was very good and it was easy to get lost in the characters and story. I hope more of Essex's books narrated!

My favorite book!

It doesn't matter how many times I listen to each book within the series, they make my heart feel whole every time. Wonderful writing in combination with the perfect narrator makes for the best audiobooks created! Listen to it!! You won't regret it. 😉

Good romance.

high on romance and romantic suspense, very low on adventure. if you want romance with a very slight fantasy twist this is perfect. if you want equal parts fantasy adventure and romance....meh.
I want the latter, but I still enjoyed the book.

Knight In Shining Armor

Whooo weee!! Now I know how sexy it is to have someone joust for one's honor!! Wow it's hot!! I loved this book!! So well written and read! Want more! A sequel is ready now -- off it go to my lady!! Great reader and fantastic imaginative story!! Well done Lady Essex!!

Love the concept

I really love the idea of this book, and after reading the summary was excited. It not a bad book by any means but there was very little dialog in the book. it was mostly all inner dialog. I loved the lady knight and wish much more of the story focused on her. Like the concept but too much inner dialog and not enough interaction among the characters. This book had a wonderful chance to be lovely fairy tale between 2 women and I wish it had gone that way.

Holly was too

extra. she made me so annoyed at times,
like honestly do they really have women as passive as her. That would actually take all of that BS from someone like Nicole. or is just so clueless, I can't even count how much times I saim" OMG" lol. I still couldn't put it down though.... nice work essex
