Were you raised by rules, but never felt safe?

Raised by Control, Not Love is a healing guide for those silently carrying the emotional wounds of having emotionally immature parents.

If you grew up in a house where affection felt conditional, where silence was punishment, and where being "the good child" meant losing touch with your real self—this book is for you.

In these deeply validating pages, Sienna Thorne walks with you through the quiet trauma that shaped your identity, and shows you how to finally:

– Set boundaries without drowning in guilt
– Grieve the childhood you never had
– Reclaim your voice, your emotions, and your peace
– And become the safe, loving parent your inner child always needed

You don’t need permission to heal.
You don’t need to keep performing for love.

You are not broken. You were emotionally starved.

It’s time to come home to yourself.

I liked the book from the start it really helped me understand how much I have learned about being enough and being able to set boundaries with others in the process of becoming less burdened by their projections onto me. I have always felt that I should shoulder the responsibility of caretaking the emotions of others now I give them back to the people who are trying to emotionally dump on me. I am not a doormat. I have real emotional strength and it’s ok to walk away.

It told my story
