Classic Diana Palmer
These are the first two Long Tall Texan novels that Diana Palmer wrote way back in the day. I enjoyed listening to them in their 1980’s context. That being said, romance writing has become a lot more sophisticated since last century. These stories are charming, but the writing is so-so.
I would’ve chosen a different narrator. But Todd narrates almost all of Diana Palmer’s books, so she must love his performances. He does a pretty good job overall. I think it’s just my personal preference to hear a deeper, more masculine voice with more range.
