Excellent Ending

Captivating story with wonderful narration. The voice acting is done very well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy mystery.

Brutish Mysteries

These Ann Granger books have the right mix of believable story lines along with interesting, lively characters. I also enjoy listening to the great English voices.

It's not NOT interesting...

All in all, its worth a listen, but the first thing that struck me about this book was how annoying some of the characters are, or maybe it's the narration? Practically shrieking/yelling in saying the lines, etc. As I listen while I'm trying to relax or work, I wasn't sure I'd be able to continue listening, but stuck in long enough for the story to progress and to get past those scenes. I'll continue on in the series, but the books seem to miss a little bit of spark. Perhaps the characters need more fleshing out, or something. There's just nothing that really makes you care about any of them.

loved it this book, great story, well constructed characters and well written. I'd recommend it!!

Another Enjoyable Listen

Book two of series started a bit slow to grab my attention but I pushed through and then shortly I was totally enthralled. Look forward to the next book in this series.
