Not suited for audio format

This book is not suited for audio format. 80% of the book is the narrator reading off line after line of code. Whomever decided to turn this into an audio book had a sense of humor.

outstanding book

The materials help avoid having to retype everything multiple times. It is still worth it to type a lot yourself -- helps one to understand the syntax and common boo-boo's.

ultimate guide

I believe the best way to learn is to get hands on and try things for yourself. In colleges and even coding boot camps, they give you a boat load of information but don't break it down and tell you what you can do with it.

You should buy this book.

I tried to learn Python using Code Academy, and it seemed to me that I got a lot of unstructured information without any context. I wish I would have picked up this book first. As does a terrific job of walking the reader through step by step of how code should look, why certain ways work better than others. I would must recommended for this book.
