organized well

This is the first book I've found that I feel he might be able to use to see if it is even something he is inclined towards. Most of the others are daunting. This goes step by step in simple terms. Fingers crossed it encourages him to learn more!

Cool book

This book was great as even a novice like myself could understand the concepts. I have tried to read other programming books, and frankly, they might as well have been written in Greek. Not so with this book. This book will serve as a great foundation for continued studies of the subject.

This book is a good place to start when it comes to learning about C#. As I've stated before, I'm not a coder, so I still have issues learning. I would definitely start with this book and move up from here.

This book is pretty good to get you started

If you are a beginner and you want to get your hand on it quickly, this book is for you. No boring introductions .However, this book is not for those who are already know C# in and out, it's for those who want to quickly learn C# step-by-step.

Great book

I've already bought the C++ and JavaScript book for absolute beginners by William and found it really useful, and this one is just as good as the others - quite detailed and comprehensive, yet easy to understand.

Learned a lot of the technical aspects

This book presents the Beginners level, being the first in his Step-by-Step series. Deeper proofreading for grammar and spelling would improve the book.There is good organization with many variations of programs and the examples to accompany them.
