Free speech is the most pragmatic tool we have for ascertaining truth. Only by examining all sides of an issue can the truth be chiseled out like a statue out of marble. We must defend all speech—whether untrue, hateful, or intolerable, as that is the only way to protect our right to understand the world. As soon as free speech is restricted, that restriction will be used to sway public opinion.

Now is a time when America needs hope. But more than hope, we need to restore our Constitution and Bill of Rights as the foundational documents of our Republic. These documents support and protect our personal sovereignty and are at the core of our fundamental rights as Americans. We must work to make this country great again by restoring our commitment to these foundational principles and ethics.

Engaging, but...

The premise and information in the book are great! It speaks to the current manipulation of probably all the information that we are getting now and how it is nearly impossible to discern truth anymore. We are corralled into hearing what we want to hear and, depending on which "team" we associate with, we are able to demonize the other side without a second though. It happens fast and overnight it can change who we listen to.

But candidly, I don't know the backstory of Dr. Malone. I was able to piece some of it together throughout the book, but if he didn't care enough to fully explain the back story, why should I care? If the first chapter was dedicated to explaining, through a personal example, the manipulation of people's opinions and then the rest of the book used specific examples to highlight the premises he was promoting, it would have been a much better book. Instead, what this book is is some really interesting ideas interspersed with vague complaining about how it affected him.

I agree that if what Dr. Malone had happen to him, did happen to him, he has every right to be upset. And then using that personal experience to delve into the machinations that allowed it to happen would have made a splendid book. However, every time the narrative delved into the personal, it just didn't have enough context to inform me.

Thought Provoking

Overall I was impressed with Robert Malones narration, great job there. As far as the book it left me wanting to dig into specific areas, even causing me to look for other books around psychological warfare, CIA tactics, etc. This could have easily been doubled or tripled in size. For those who have not trusted the government for a while, you will find some nuggets in here and will confirm what you already know. For those who are stumbling across this and wondering if the Matrix is real, buckle up, you are in for a ride. Either way I highly recommend this book if nothing else to get a level set on the levers being pulled behind the curtain.

Exellent desription of our failed democracy

Fails to explain that the oligarchs derive their influence from the PACs created by the Federal Election campaign Act(FECA) of 1971 . That is when Congress betrayed their constituents and sold itself to special nterest PACs to stay in power for life.
