An eleoquent, factual review of a living hell

I couldn't stop listening to this book. Naomi nails it as she describes the horrors a small group of people forced on humanity.... the personal, financial and historical ruin inflicted on us. This book has great detail, it's personal and it recounts all aspects of 2020 - 2023. More clarity and honesty than we can get must places today. Naomi apologized for not seeing it all in the beginning but shows how, with critical thinking and paying attention to things that don't match, seen right or are immoral can open one's eyes to what is really going on and then describes the beauty in the seeing... the connecting with others and all of nature. one if my favorite books!

This is a "Must Read/Listen"book

This is a GREAT book! It details and captures so many of the emotions of what we experienced with the COVID years. She is a wonderful story teller. This was a necessary book to document for history what really happened. I especially enjoyed her description of the 1st and 2nd Amendment, and how one can change their perspective on such important matters.

I always enjoy when the author reads their own book, but I understand sometimes its not possible. Having said that, I though Carolyn White did a really nice job.

Thank you Naomi Wolf for being on the front line of bringing us the truth.

Easy to listen to - thought provoking book. So much going on in this world- so much information- I wish everyone would listen to this book. Thank you Naomi for sharing the facts of so many things with us.

Compelling personal and political story.

Most of the information in this book was not new to me. The way it was presented mixed with her personal story was compelling. I had trouble putting it down.

Profoundly Validating

Hearing my COVID experience accurately explained by a soul from the polar opposite side of politics and world view was very comforting. But the underlying message of hope amidst the story of pure evil is what struck me. Thank you.

Honest and heartfelt portrayal of our times

I enjoyed the honesty and personal nature of this book. She said so many of the things that were in my heart.

Loved this book; the best book that I’ve listened to all year. The narrator was wonderful in telling the story.

The truth

I did not want this book to end it literally was like chicken soup to my soul, the horror of it but always followed by the reminder that we are loved and designed to be loved

I loved the narrator, she sounds a lot like Naomi and read with feeling. The story is so relatable to all of us who endured the discrimination and wrath of the majority of the population.
