Publisher's summary

John Frist was a good soldier, until his Humvee was hit by an IED in Iraq. Discharged, he carries out one of the worst terror attacks in US history. Captured and brainwashed, he is remade by Project StrikeForce into a technologically enhanced super-soldier. Now he must find a former Mujahideen, Abdullah the Bomber, before Abdullah can strike the US with a terror attack of his own.

Eric Wise is a former Delta Force operator, recruited by the Office of Threat Management to run Project StrikeForce. He is tasked with training Frist, turning him into the weapon the US needs, and proving the viability of the StrikeForce technology. But, there is a darker side to the Office, and Eric must navigate terror threats, ensuring that Frist never remembers his past while uncovering the painful truths about his own family history.

Boring

(1) describe something boring
(2) inject some tepid action
rinse, repeat until done. ZZZ

Combat action, anti-terrorist, super soldier!

Project StrikeForce
By: Kevin Lee Swaim
Narrated by: Patrick Freeman
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
This book is a combat/anti-terrorist book with sci-fi elements. It is super action packed and never dull. This story is about a soldier named John, a good soldier but gets screwed over by the army and he comes back to the states mentally wounded and angry. He commits a horrible crime and ends up in Gitmo. He is taken from there and experimented on and his memories erased and replaced with new ones. He is made into a super soldier. If he remembers his old life, he is a dead man.
The narration is wonderful. The narrator does an excellent job with the voices, mood and emotions. He does the crazy daughter too well, I am scared of her and I know she is not real! LOL

A different kind of military story

I'm not usually into military stories, but this is not your typical military book. Or it would be a more behind-the-scenes, super classified type of take on military. I definitely enjoyed it and it made me think about if this is/could happen in our future. Worth a listen for sure!
