Publisher's Summary

A scouting mission gone bad. A life-changing loss of time. Can a privateer team navigate a bloody revolution to find their way home?

Liam Hoffen is used to straightforward missions going off the rails. But when he emerges from a crash-landing, one look tells him he’ll need more than a simple repair job. Having spent years inadvertently trapped in stasis, life has done more than pass him by...it’s dumped his entire team into an alien revolution.

Stranded on a rugged world hundreds of thousands of light years from home, Liam and his crew are immediately swept up in incomprehensible planetary politics. Choosing the wrong side to defeat a fresh menace could be the difference between life and death.

Can Liam find a way off the planet before it becomes their final resting place?

Privateers in Exile is the 16th stand-alone audiobook in the Privateer Tales series of military space operas. If you like alien firefights, galactic power plays, and gritty heroes, then you’ll love Jamie McFarlane’s rocket-fueled adventure.

Stop do not buy this.

He ruins the entire series within the first hour. Avoid this, trust me you're better off just imagining the crew all lived happily ever after at the end of 15.

worst of the series

It's doing the "True Blood timeskip", and it just fails. Time skips can be a good way to do a soft reboot, but this isn't the way to go.

I'm hoping that the next book will be much better

Should be titled Author Betrays readers

Author destroys characters and story line if you read the book before this one you have enjoyed a incredible series but stop there.

Almost jumped the shark...

I have to admit that I am really torn with this installment. I think the author could have kept this overall storyline and could have made some small changes for example, swapping Ada and Tabby -- and I wouldn't have been so torn... maybe this series is approaching the point where everyone needs to sail off into the sunset...

Good kinda

I lost connection with crew on this story arch. Either was to much planitary action or the skip in time. Made wanna say meh.

Wanted to wash my ears out with bleach

Terrible. if you like Priveer Tales please stop at 15. This book ruins all you thought about several characters. It also wrecks future stories.

a disgrace to an amazing series.

this was the most disappointing sequel to a good series ive ever seen. if you have run out of ideas for your series end it and write a new one. make some similar characters. do some side stories for a bit. whatever. but dont do this.

i had to stop reading about an hour in. for months i would open it and try to get into it. but it would make ne so angry id shut it off and go do something else. my appetite for audio books temporarily gone. not sure how to rate the reader he had nothing to work with.

Don’t agree with other reviews

Honestly this was just as good as the other books, don’t understand why all the bad reviews saying to stop at book 15. If you liked the previous books then you will most likely dig this one. Can’t wait to jump into 17.

I will never have enough of this series

After listening to all of the books, and so deep into the story, I can not get enough of this, easy pleasurable fast paced fun. I am fully invested in this universe!

This book is another great installment and without putting any spoilers in is a great tale.

Privateers in exile

Another awesome book from a great author, back to the original team but with plenty of twists to keep you guessing what could happen next. Think it's great that narrator Mikael Narramore is back he does a great job
