Mark Holbrook was a legend. A tall, rugged, imposing legend. He'd won a Pulitzer, interviewed kings and queens, presidents, and movie stars. Carly Barnett, on the other hand, was a former-beauty-queen-turned-advice-columnist. Not exactly on the same level. Still, Carly was determined to prove that she was more than a pretty face. Mark wasn't sure the beautiful and spirited Carly had what it took to be a reporter, but he was sure that he wanted her. And Mark never denied himself what he wanted.

A fun steamy story, great narrator.
Book two of a trilogy each featuring a different couple in the same world aka they all know each other. With a promised HEA its really important to enjoy the ride and the author and narrator totally succeeded in this. Looking forward to book 3.

These stories are great!
I have had or seen these stories for a long time. So I decided to give them a try they are excellent. If you Princess and Prince stories these are the ones for you. Ms. Diamond is her usual excellent writer self and these have it all. Read them or listen if you listen note THERE IS NO VIRTUAL VOICE, REAL NARRATORS! FANTASTIC!

Loved the characters
Prince Andres is complex, swoon worthy and romantic. Angela is the American girl he sets out to make his own. Surrounded by a strong cast, this will they or won’t they make it story is well written and worth every minute.

Nice Story

Angela meets Prince Andres of Estoria at her best friend Dahlia's wedding to Prince Kofi....Prince Andres is smitten with Angela from the beginning...but she is extremely hesitant....she basically tells him that she's not interested...a few weeks later she returns to Atlanta and he contacts her at work for service....the two of them have dinner and a secret courtship begins...this couple experiences a little bit of everything to include racism (Angela is bi-racial)....A lot happens before these two are able to get to their HEA.
