Could not finish

Sorry, I don't like the reader, and the story is too unrealistic and depressing. Hope I can figure out a way to get a refund.

good story mediocre narration

I really enjoy the Luke Stone series but this one it was a challenge to go through because of the mediocre narration. I actually had to speed up then iration so I could get through the end of the book. I will not be buying any more of these books if the narrator doesn't change

Good Entertainment

I'm finding it harder to find books I enjoy as writers just can't keep up with my favorites. I really like this book, so far only two in this series. Looking forward to additional stories.

A Must Read

Overall a good story, it’s good to get the background on what made Luke Stone and his characters development.

Great story, narrator is far from my favorite

I am enjoying the Luke Stone stories so far but the narrator kind of ruins the story at times. it's like he's time traveller and is a 1930's gangster from Massachusetts. the story itself is good, there were a few holes that were plot devices, but nothing too bad. I think Mars might need to look into what a double action trigger actually is, but otherwise, pretty good.

Needs a wrap

The story flows beautifully, but the ending is abrupt, and not satisfying. Larry Gorman is brilliant with the narration.

Great book

I highly recommend the book, but I just had to note that the reader is great when he’s narrating but when he performs as a character he makes the characters whiny and nasally. I almost quit listening early in the book because of this. I’m glad I stu ck it out because it’s a great book!!

Poor

Struggled to finish, story line was poor and naration was almost child like in places. Felt like my teacher was reading to me and I been in class since 1984!
