When Kim Fraser enters the lair of shifter Liam Morrissey to get answers for a client accused of murder, she is unprepared for her attraction to him. But her venture into Shiftertown uncovers too many secrets the shifters want kept secret. The unmated Liam is forced to protect Kim against the wrath of his clan leader and his own father.

What Liam doesn't expect when he makes the mate claim for Kim's own protection is a powerful attraction to the courageous and warmhearted human woman.

This is the first book in the Shifters Unbound series.

The ending seemed good when Kim was sent home to continue on with her life, but then the return and pregnancy was cliche.

Not what I thought it would be

I admit that I had some trouble following the narration, not only because I couldn't tell some voices apart but because the "I perspective" was extended to all main characters. After figuring out the dynamics and how the story was told, I've really started enjoying the whole narration and development of the story.
Intriguing way of building a world and a story 🤔 This way O knew where they stood without having to guess.
