Publisher's summary

Mia Sosa returns with another fun, flirty romance in her Love on Cue series!

For Hollywood agent Julian Hart, representing his best friend—megastar Carter Williamson—means it’s nearly impossible to keep his personal life and career separate. To make matters worse, Carter’s younger sister has been starring in Julian’s wildest fantasies more often than he’d care to admit. He knows she’s off-limits, but when Ashley shows up on his doorstep, needing a place to crash… suddenly his greatest temptation is sleeping down the hall.

Free-spirited Ashley Williamson doesn’t do commitment. Jobs, apartments, men… why let herself be tied down? But she’s had a crush on her older brother’s best friend for years and she’s committed to making Julian want her, one towel-clad midnight encounter at a time. But just as things start heating up, their steamy flirtation is interrupted by Carter’s east coast wedding. Ashley has no desire to go home and face her reputation as the family disappointment. But living with—dare she say dating?—a successful, sexy film agent could really help her save face.

Julian can’t believe he agreed to fake a relationship with the one woman he can never have. And it’s going to take more than a little willpower to remember it's all pretend. Or is it?

Flaky

Not as good as previous stories...I barely made it through. Did not enjoy the Ashley character at all.

Charismatic

I loved the chemistry of the characters. The female narration by Sean was a little annoying. Otherwise, a good listen, satisfying hea story.

Too Similar to Wedding Crasher

This was definitely a cute story and I liked it. The Narrators were phenomenal, but the story line was way too similar to another one of Mia's books, Wedding Crasher. I felt like it wasn't inventive or creative. The reason as to why they break up(the big fight in general) was a bit off the cuff and unrealistic. Overall I liked the story, but was it because it was similar to one of her books I already read or because it was truly a good story? I do love that Mia kept with her usual of crossing over characters from 1st book in the series, Acting on Impulse, and of course some of the lol scenes, with the witty jokes and sarcasm.

Sweet and Sexy

I really liked the tension between Julian and Ashley, and while I understood what kept them apart initially, it started to wear thin. Thank God that was when they finally gave in to their attraction and resulted in some hot sex scenes. It was nice that Carter and Tori were a big part of this book too. Loved the performances!

Freeballing- and no, not like Tom Petty’s song

Hmm, it’s probably the actor thing. Well, mostly the actor thing and also Julian’s weird love of going commando (or as he says “free balling”). Erin Mallon gives great comedy, but here her narration only increased my dislike of obnoxious, free spirit white girl Ashley. Two grownups stuck in their ruts, too scared to take a risk and free fall … huh, I guess it ended like the Tom Petty song after all.

The culture and the fun failed to get me past “the beautiful people” problems featured in this series; I’m just not into actors and their agents or aspiring singers. Finally, I felt like the sex scenes are trying too hard to be original … and that ends up making them more cringe worthy than sexy. I kept thinking to myself that no one would talk that way. The whole series has been on the one-and-done-listen side.

Great story!

Love this author. And I’m so into all of her books. The storyline is great and love how each book leads into the book in the series, which makes me have to listen to it. And the diversity….❤️
