Publisher's summary

Can a man's ruined honor be restored through bravery in battle?

President Nathaniel "Dutch" McAdams saves his family from the apocalypse, but drops his sacred duty in the process. With the nation destroyed, he retreats into a brutal regimen of physical fitness and combat training, resolving to fight to the death as a partisan for the country he failed.

Dutch and his family settle among the Paiute Indians, where two months later, a Russian Spetsnaz unit comes searching for the nuclear missile control briefcase in the wreckage of Air Force One. The implications of the Russian incursion bloom into the terrifying likelihood a one-sided nuclear strike against the American West.

As the president pleads with Native Americans for assistance, he discovers they have earthshaking secrets of their own. Social justice, indigenous rights and old wounds challenge an alliance that could either save America, or turn it down the path of a long, dark age.

The direct sequel to The Last Air Force One, President Partisan is Book Eight in the Black Autumn series.

Better the devil you know.

Not very far from the truth.
To a hammer... Everything is a nail.
Kevin Pierce delivers yet again a timeless narration. The authors are very insightful and prophetic. Keep this genre going and thank you all. Steven Snyder, avid apocolyptic believer.

Great Finish toa Strange Story Line

I really enjoyed this series. It's filled with great characters that you like but recognize the deep flaws they hold. This is likely the last book in the series and it's another action packed story that's strange but entertaining. The reliance on a artificial intelligence, unbelievably created on the fly by a college-age girl who despises people, was hard to believe but oddly - the authors made it work. The interactions between the President of the United States, indigenous tribal members, and elements of a broken but still effective group of US Army soldiers made things even weirder - but again, the authors succeeded in weaving the disparate pieces together. This is the end of the United States, after all. My only wish was that this odd group would have formed an alliance with the group in Idaho and together pushed out the Russian invaders who took advantage of the broken country. Sadly, the Idaho group never made it into the story and neither did the other story lines from the other books in the series. Overall, a weird way to end the series but entertaining, nonetheless. Another outstanding performance by Kevin Pierce - the "voice of the apocalypse".

Outstanding

Kirkham and Ross have done it again, and I have to say, one of (if not THE BEST) ending of one of their books. Great jobs guys. Can’t wait for the next one.

Rebirth

A fantastic final book the series. Narration on point. I started this series on a whim, and to be honest it’s been life changing. The characters, the plot, and the finale are forbidding yet full of hope. If you’ve been along since the first book and you’ve not prepared, or at least come to accept our way of life currently is on lock step to doom, this book will push you over the edge. I hope many people will read this series and readjust their aim.
