A must-read for parents with challenging children

Excellent book! Tina's methodology is straight forward and enlightening. It is delightful to listen to Tina read her book. Her enthusiasm is contagious.

Great Audio book read by the Author

I had heard great reviews about Tina Feigal and finally took the plunge. As a busy parent, the audio book was helpful and easily digestible. You could feel the authors love of kids AND appreciation for PARENTS as well. This books takes decades of brain research and childhood development and offers it up in simple easy strategies for any parent. I am a Mom of two very different boys and the stregegies work for challenging behaviors and simple relationship building as well. I even tried Tina's DO-OVER stretegy on my older, strong willed child. At first he pushed back, but after I persisted and gave myself some Do-Overs, we both thought it was brilliant. If something comes out wrong, or bad behavior rises to the surface, no worries...the do-overs allow us to right our wrongs by trying again. Any behavior correction that ends in postive connection and shared laughter is a win in my book. And the "SEE ME" letters to my kids...both boys pulled me aside and THANKED Me...who would have thought two boys could still get so sweet. GREAT Book...would recommend to any parent. I actually felt better as a mom just having read it! If you are looking for a way to deal with challenging behaviors and still have a realtionship in tact as they get older, this book is for you!
