Worth the Effort

This is a very difficult book to listen to. However, there are many valuable insights and discussions presented that make it worth listening to. Maybe pace yourself. Also, most people should expect to take much longer finishing it then an average audiobook.

May be better to read rather than listen.

When stopping the story and coming back I had trouble remembering which devise of Satan pertained to the remedy being discussed.

Thought provoking

Very informative. Its counsel is so relevant that it might have been written recently. Certainly worth the time invested.

Good But Not Great

Great content on the subject, unfortunately it is very, very verbose even for a puritan work. While it may have been the subject matter I found the book to be very slow, again, even for a work by a puritan author. I would catagorize it as tedious.

More Precious Than Rubies!

This is a must read for every Bible believing, born again Christian! This is an excellent and most detailed treatise on Satan's evil schemes written with such remarkable skill, I could not stop listening to it!
Here are some noteworthy quotes from the book and this sums it up nicely, why you should get it:
"The loss of your soul is incomparable, irreparable, and irrecoverable.
If your soul is lost, all is lost, and you are undone forever."
"Be suspect of that way wherein you see multitudes walk."
"Is it not better to walk in a straight way alone, than to wander into crooked ways with company?
Surely, it is better to go to heaven alone, than to hell with company."

Matthew 7:13 "“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are mnay who go in by it."
Proverbs 8:11 "For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire compares with her."
