Excellent presentation of Christian holiness
Even though I come from a different perspective on some issues than David Bernard, I believe this book on Christian holiness is the best book on the topic I have found.
Other than Bernard’s teaching on the woman’s head covering from 1 Corinthians 11 being the hair (which in my understanding Paul is actually talking about a head covering), I agree with most all of his conclusions. This book presents a robust view of the victorious Christian life.
Unfortunately this book will be dismissed my many as legalistic or unnecessary, but I’m afraid that those who do are missing the beauty and satisfaction of a fully surrendered Christian life.
Many thanks to David Bernard for giving us this clear teaching on Christian holiness.
