Great book for Pentecostals and other denominations!
It is Pentecostal based, however, it does an amazing job at threading the needle on all the denominations! It treats every denomination that is spoken of with respect, but also telling a wonderful story at the same time. Great book, great writing a must read for anyone that wants to learn about church history!

You won’t recognize certain names and doctrines
I’m sorry, but the reader does not pronounce some names and doctrines accurately, especially Greek theological terms. This is a constant frustration. Please, either research before reading or refuse the job.
The book itself is fantastically written and the information is top shelf. Too bad about the performance.
