Powerfu Affirmations for All Women

Although this book is geared towards black women, I do believe every woman can benefit from the positive affirmations and mindset shifters contained in this book. The author spaces the affirmations with enough silence to allow the subconscious mind to absorb and respond to the information and with enough repetition to absorb the messages truly.

Wow, this was great! Affirmations for whatever you are dealing with. They say, "change your attitude, change your life," and this is packed with positive brain food. I Loved it. I'm sure I will listen again and again.

The book you didn’t realize you needed so badly

Full disclosure, I am a white woman, but I was gifted this book and have never really done any positive affirmations in my life. I listened to all 5 hours during my commute to work this past week, and WOW, did this ever come at a time when I needed it but also, I can’t believe what a mindset recalibration occurred. The author truly covers every aspect of self worth and reiterates many points throughout in a varied and effective way, and the narrator has a steady and sure tone that never wavers from firm self-assurance. This was also a perspective-bearing experience as a white woman. While I am very much aware of the privilege I carry, it was still humbling and educational and a good reminder of certain aspects of self and identity like skin and hair that preoccupy many women of color that I have admittedly never considered in terms of how I am perceived by others. While this book is tailor-made for black women, it’s a valuable resource for all women and provided a window into concerns black women carry that my privileged self as an ally always learning simply does not. Highly recommend if you’re ready to embrace self love with kindness towards others and ambitions for success as high as the sky.
